Move In Date: 8/20/21 Signed Lease prior month Sight unseen as I was in ********* moving down to ***** and assumed what was in the ad was what I was getting. Attached is the ad sent to me by Vance J. Elliott Realty after I had caught the mistake of applying for *********************** my lease it stated ****************. In the ad they had sent to make sure this was the property I want for sure before signing the lease it states a 2 Car garage parking space, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. All three items which I do not have access to. In the screen shot of the messages they had sent to me on 9/10/21 after a phone call they state the two parking spaces are in the back ally which are already taken by other tenants or the street which is public parking and not a designated parking spot on the property as stated in the lease.And I was not given the information of a shared mailbox till after I had moved in, which by ***** law is illegal.Business response

Hi *******, I received this complaint. Im sorry sometimes it can be very confusing especially if prospective tenants are looking on websites for a home using third party ads, zillow and many websites during their searches. What was sent to him wasnt an ad its a listing of info on a website. Seeing that he rented it sight unseen, you can see how confusion can happen. If they would have been able to view it in person, they would have seen the unit and they way its split. This was an old listing on the site and looks like it got copied and pasted.
This property was subdivided so the unit does have a dishwasher and disposal upstairs, but when the unit was split, the downstairs has fridge,stove and sink but no d/w and the parking is out behind the garage space but none are reserved. Its open parking. If he thought he was leasing unit 220 Trestle Tree, we do not manage that unit so I am not sure I understand the reference to that listing.
On all websites including the *** website, there are disclaimers mentioning 3 party information and that its not guaranteed.
