    Im writing to let you know that Jackson Movers in ***** is by far the worst movers my Mother and I ever experienced. I moved my 89 year old Mom from ***** to ******** (where I reside) on December 24, 2024. I handled the move and the movers arrived on December 18th late. They packed up 2 bedrooms and entire apartment in 5 hours but one hour was for lunch. A day before arriving to ****** I received a phone call that I had to pay the remainder (over $3k) by cash or postal money order they would not accept a bank money order and if we didnt pay per their request they would take Moms household goods back to *****. Who does that??? Are they illegal that a bank money order wasnt good enough? Of note during this my Mom was hospitalized for 5 days and then rehab for 1.5 months. When they dropped it off on December 31st they put 20 large boxes in the kitchen and 30 more boxes in other rooms. I saw some chips and big scratches on big furniture. They left less than 2 hours later. Once I was able to open boxes I was shocked that they put small tables on top of each other in wardrobe boxes with no padding. Table tops and legs were broken. Most of her furniture is from Europe as my Dad served 42 years in the Army. Glassware, *****, and crystal were broken. And many other valuable items. Because Mom was informed that they are very good and reliable she did insurance that was .60 cents to a pound. Boy was she wrong. They did a rush job from ***** to ********. They had zero compassion for the elderly. Mom has moved over 30 times and NEVER had so many items broken and unrepairable. As a military family (Im also a veteran) this was the absolute WORST moving company we have ever dealt with. It took me 20 hours to do their claim form pictures and descriptions of each item. And they only gave Mom $60 for all damages. This move cost her $13k plus. The stress was too much. The threat of taking my Moms furniture back to ** unbelievable. Do better JM.

    Both crews were very professional and concerned about the customers needs. They were extremely quick and cautious with each item. The crews were friendly and made sure we were satisfied with the way they handled our items and were satisfied where they were placed. I recommend Jackson Movers to all that need a reasonably priced and an experienced company.

    They got the work done in under an hour and had a great attitude the whole time. They were so kind and got everything how I wanted. Even though it was on the third floor, they were hustling. Highly recommend, especially those two!

    I own several paintings and sculptures, and the movers treated each piece extremely carefully when moving them. They used climate-controlled transport and custom crates for them. Thanks to how cautious they were, I received my things in excellent condition!
