I called multiple times to cancel my subscription. but was charged anyway.The two managers (****** and his manager) lied repeatedly over the course of one month, stating they would cancel the subscription. - To start, on Sep. 13, I called and was told a manager would call me back in a few days to confirm cancelation. No callback was received.- On Sep. 22, I called to follow up and was told a manager would email me to confirm cancelation. No email was received.- I called again and was told the manager hadn't gotten to it but was working on it and would email me within ***** minutes to confirm cancelation. No email was received. I called again and was told the manager wouldn't send me verification of cancelation but would complete the cancelation by the end of day.- A charge was still withdrawn from my account on Oct. 13.- I called and spoke with ****** about the charge. Instead of apologizing, he said I had been told the cancelation policy during my first call to cancel on Sep. 13, and, therefore, I "knew" the policy. He then tried another angle, asking if I had signed their cancelation papers. I told him the admins and the managers never mentioned the need to sign such a document. He did not respond to that.Overall, he failed to acknowledge the repeated lies from managers who said they'd cancel my subscription.I asked what the cancelation fee would be, and he said the cancelation fee would be the full 12-month's worth of subscription fees. I balked, so he said the rest of the subscription would be canceled, but the first charge would remain. I gave up.- I put a stop payment on future withdrawals.- Oct. 16: I requested my signed original terms and conditions and cancelation verification. **** told me that the manager had run out of printer ink, so they couldn't print my paperwork. They have not contacted me since.- I disputed the fee through my bank. They have not been able to get ahold of the managers at Massage Envy.
