The Tamarack neighborhood in ***************** demands immediate removal from the Shop and Save newspaper delivery list. Residents have repeatedly tried to cancel this unwanted delivery via your Vericast online form, which clearly doesnt work. Multiple requests have been submitted over the past year by numerous residentsall ignored.Let me be clear: not one Tamarack resident wants this paper. It ends up scattered on sidewalks, clogs gutters during rain, and is a constant eyesore. Your delivery is not only unwanted but has caused property damagedestroying plants and killing landscaping when papers are left to rot.Some elderly residents dont pick up the paper for weeks, leaving five or six papers piled in front of their homes.If this is not resolved immediately, we will file a formal property damage claim and consult an attorney for a cease and desist. I will also speak directly to the delivery driver and make it absolutely clear he is not welcome to leave anything on my property or in this neighborhood.Stop littering our property with this trash. I expect confirmation that this delivery will be permanently discontinued without further delay.Below are the names and addresses of all residents who wish to stop delivery. This formal petition is recorded and may be used in legal action. A map of the affected area is attached.The neighborhood of ******** is composed of all the houses in ********, ******** running along the west side of ***********************************, and all homes running along the following streets: ******************, Boxleaf Ln., **************, Pergolla Ln., Trumpet Vine Ln., **************, and Heartland Ln. I have asked the company through their website that I no longer want to receive their coupon newspaper they throw on my yard. Not only is this littering, but it causes issues when I am away from my home. The website says to contact the ****, but there is no direct address on the newspaper therefore, the **** won't know what to do. Continually distributes periodical to my home address by method of throwing advertising materials in a plastic bag into the driveway, grass, sidewalk or street. I've attempted multiple times to "unsubscribe" to their delivery service, for which I've never elected for by any indication. The site returns an error meant to prevent me from "unsubscribing". Ultimately this is forcing me to receive unwanted and unsolicited products from this company and its affiliates.Business Response

Save.com (owned by Vericast) performs a weekly delivery of a coupon newspaper. The ad is NOT delivered in the mail but rather via a driver in a truck like a paperboy. The ad papers are tossed onto driveways, into bushes, in the street, etc. None of the residents on my street want the paper and they cause litter everywhere. When it rains, the papers get lodged in the gutters, melted into the lawns and sidewalks, and are strewn around the neighborhood. There is no way to stop the delivery through the Save.com or Vericast website and they are knowingly unhelpful in ceasing this practice. I have contacted them multiple times and was told they would discontinue but it has been disregarded.Business Response

I am NOT interested in receiving all of their junk mail at my address. I will NOT give out my SS number which they want to stop mailing. This is the company that sends the SAVE newspaper/coupons and throw them on the front lawn. I have submitted and called twice to be removed and they refuse. It has been almost 2 years. the online form says I already have been removed which is not true. The litter on the lawn gets torn up by my gardener when he mows the lawn and shreds it up and when I go pick up the mess I almost get run over by a car since my house is on a very busy two lane road with speeders.Business Response

We get unsolicited junk mail thrown into our yard every single week. We have never subscribed this to mailing list. It is not going inside my mailbox but onto the yard or sidewalk where people walk. I have requested to opt out of this service from their Save website last year but it didn't work. They still keep littering into everyone's yard in my neighborhood.This needs to stop immediately as I have cameras catching these guys in minivans throwing these junk ads into my lawn at around 4 in the morning.STOP SENDING ME THIS JUNKBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because when I go to the valassis website and try to opt out from this, it directs me back to the Vericast website. It appears there is still a clear affiliation that Valassis has with Vericast. Go to ********************************************* and the go to ***********************************. These websites are redirecting to each other. The response by Vericast does not show any confirmation of information being sent to Valassis. Please provide instructions on how to prevent these unsolicited printed advertisements from being delivered to my lawn.
