    Amount ****** Date 12-5-2022 Issue: I called in to Farmers to ask why my rate went up almost 50 dollars and requested for a refund, which I was told to send an email stating that I wanted to cancel and the date, 12-5-2022. My policy was for my 2009 Lexus GX 470.My wife also has her own policy, which covers her Jeep and our 4Runner. She pays for her policy separately as it is a different policy.I never signed any documents for her policy, I only signed them for my policy. The insurance is holding my refund until my wife is current on her policy. I do not understand why the money from my policy, which is separate is being withheld. Also, I had my daughter removed from my policy in order to save on costs as she does not drive any of our vehicles. My wife also called and had her removed from her policy. We were told that each of us had to call in separately since our accounts were separate.Apparently an email went out stating our rates were going up, but that was before the insurance company stated they sent the email. I have no record of that email, and I emailed them to ask for a copy of the email, or a copy of the email headers that show the email was actually sent to me. They have not been able to provide any proof. I have asked why I was not told that my policy was going up, especially when they told me it was going down, after the email was allegedly sent stating my policy was going up.I do not appreciate them holding money from one policy to pay for another especially when I am not responsible for the bills that another person pays, especially since its from a different bank entirely, and a different policy.I can forward the email chain along where you can see they have not been able to prove that they sent me anything regarding a rate increase, and they literally just took my money and are now holding it over my head.My wife is paying them today too, for what its worth. ********** is my number.Thanks,*************************
