This company did foundation work on my home a that has a lifetime warranty. I have tried and been unable to contact them over the past two months with regard to issues with the work. The phone number listed on Bbb I has a full voicemail and the website has been taken down (in the past few weeks).Have they gone out of business? In addition, I have since learned that they used another companys logo on their contract and warranty so they misrepresented who they are.Initial Complaint

The business is:ABC foundation repair specialist 2523 ********************************* ************ I had numerous large cracks in walls and ceiling so I reached out to ABC foundation 11/2021 and they sent *******************, foundation specialist to my home, it was determined I needed foundation fixed. I paid ****** for foundation repair that was completed 5/2022 and company has a lifetime warranty. I had inside house painted and repairs done to cracks and then I started noticing the cracks coming back and ceiling cracks as well. The foundation has affected my kids shower, the shower has pulled away from the wall. its pretty bad. I called to have them come out and look at foundation back in 11/2023 and they did but made excuses that they couldn't get to it for months. Text messages back and forth and numerous calls to company and never any response. Finally 7/2024 I got through to ******************* that was helping us and he said he was no longer with company. I recently got a hold of a man named **** who is answering their phone stated he was thinking of buying the business. Which doesn't make sense to me. Why would he answer their calls and hasn't bought the company? He said he is getting a lot of complaints and may not buy the company. I think he has purchased the company and doesn't want to address the lifetime warranty. ******** states no charge to home owner. I am not sure about the correct address but it could also be ABC Foundation Repair Specialist Map *********************. *********************. I have been lied to for months and now they report business is closing. They even have a new name on building but I am not sure of the name.Initial Complaint

There are pending items from the signed work agreement between us and *** Foundation Repair Specialist: Not all debris was removed there is a shrub that was removed from landscape by its roots and placed back. It took us some time to realize that they removed it initially the shrub died, we placed it on the side of the house and would like it removed from our property. The breaking up of the driveway concrete created spider web cracks that were not originally there. In addition, after pouring concrete, the concrete dried and was left with cracks due to no expansion joints being used (replaced as we had them prior to work performed). Cracks should be filled with sealant and separation wood joints replaced. The pre drain inspection was not performed prior to the work and it was also not performed after the work. Narrative:Our initial visit was on 10/6/22, in good spirit, we signed a work contract on this day. Thereafter there were various missed opportunities to communicate our work start date, often times with laborers showing up on days it was raining. During the work, hairline cracks occurred in ************ drywall and separation of caulking from our windows and the drywall frame. I was informed by the laborers that the schematics provided were not supportive of the weight of our home and that to avoid the resulting damage we would have required to additional piers. The result was an inability to completely level our home as doing so would result in further drywall cracks along with an unhinged front door. Further, the laborers did not bring boards to cover the holes around our home while work was being completed and nearly resulted in an injury claim. During and after completion of the work, we made payments on 11/17/22 and 11/29/22; however *** Foundation Repair Specialist has not honored their portion of the signed legal work agreement.Initial Complaint

I signed an agreement on January 18, 2023, with ***************************, a representative for *** Foundation Specialist. I needed a pier and beam frame home leveled, located at **************** ***** ***** *****. The back end of the house (a small portion sitting on a slab of cement) had settled and was starting to cause some small issues with doors opening and closing. *********** after assessing the house insisted that the whole house needed to be leveled because it was sitting so low to the ground not just the back end as I had requested. He said that 42 blocks and pads would be replaced but no new wood be needed because it was all in good shape. We agreed to $19,800, a large sum of money, but he insisted that I would not be disappointed because of the quality of work that they provided. He did contact me the following day after they had started the work to inform me of an additional charge of $1200 to replace 40 feet of wood in the back of the house "the only area he had not been able to assess because of how low it was sitting on the ground". I reluctantly agreed. On February 15th *********** called to inform me that the work had been completed, he again reminded me that I had a 5-year warranty that would take care of any issues that might arise, so I promptly paid him. # day later after examining the house, I found the workmanship to be lacking. The center of the front of the house had been raised but not the outside perimeter. This left gapes between the floor and the walls where there had been none before. Also, there are random high spots throughout the house where our feet are catching on tile, a problem that was not there prior to the work. And the one area that I needed worked on, at the back of the house, remains the same as before they started work. I again reached out to *********** about the problems I had that needed correction. After some no shows he finally sent **** over to make the corrections (after several no shows). **** the person that actually did the work, informed me he could not complete the job because he deemed the beams around the perimeter to be in adequate to withstand the lifting which he said he had informed *********** and the bosses. **************************** had assured me would not be an issue from the beginning and I was never informed of. I asked to have a meeting with the owners of *** Foundation Repair Specialist through their employees the only answer I get is that they will finish the job if I pay more. Now after the storm the house has shifted and I'm getting more sheetrock damage and interior closet doors are scraping on the floor.Initial Complaint

I hired *** foundation to come and level the foundation of my pier and beam home. This company also offers a 10 year warranty with their service. I am having issues with some uneven areas where they came out to level my home. I have tried several times over the past 10 months to get this fixed. They sent out 2 people from the office and they said that it wasnt done right and need to be redone and will cost me over 5k after I already paid 5k to them. They started that they would get a crew out to my residence within the next couple weeks. This was over 6 months ago and things seem to be getting worse. This company is not honoring their own warranty and seen like they are not planing on coming out anytime soon to fix the issues.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
They lied. I told the people that came out to my home unannounced to have the office reach out to me so that way I can be home when the work is being done. I told the same people that came out to look at the issue that it would be better for them to come on my days off because they rotate. The office never reached out to me but the individuals who came over made sure to try and make a sales pitch before they left. The company never left a voicemail and when I call the office I never get a response. The number that I call is *****************. I also email ******************************* <**********************************************> and get no scheduling updates what so ever.

We went out to ***************************** home today. found that our work was still within level. He did, however, have a floor joist that was broken. Although, it says in our contract we are not responsible for such damage during a lift we went ahead and fixed it for him. It does appear that he has a beam approximately 16 ft that is cracking as well, ****, our ******* explained that it will need repair in the near future in addition he will need an additional 6 blocks and pads. Unfortunately the customer is not in a position or willingness to do this. We have stabilized the home.
