      I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the lack of gas service activation at my new residence. I recently purchased a home and requested for both gas and electric services to commence on December 6, 2024. While the electric service was activated as scheduled, the gas service was not turned ***** CPS Energy is the sole provider of gas services in ***********, I am deeply disappointed by this oversight. The absence of gas service has caused significant inconvenience and disruption to my daily life, particularly as we are entering the colder months. This delay has also raised serious concerns about the risk of hypothermia due to the lack of heating.I request that CPS Energy take immediate action to rectify this situation by:Activating my gas service without further delay.Providing a detailed explanation for the failure to activate the service as scheduled.Compensating me for the inconvenience caused by this delay.Implementing measures to ensure such oversights do not occur in the future.Additionally, I believe that fines should be imposed on CPS Energy for failing to meet their service obligations, as this incident reflects a breach of consumer trust and reliability.I expect a prompt response to this complaint and a resolution to the issues raised.Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

      Will double charge you even if you pay your bill on time if you have auto pay then charge you money when the bank refuses that charge and not tell you when they are going to take that new charge out that they're charging you for paying your bill on time manually BEFORE the due date of the bill. Absolutely horrendous.

      CPS Energy has attempted two times to deduct $1,200 from my checking account without my permission! This could get me evicted! At the first of the month???

      I have called and complained about the usage for what seems like years now. I never got an answer and was in a major hardship and finally paid a 10k bill at the end of October with help from the **** Going through this process I studied responsibility ethos and negligence and found that I was receiving no help ethically morally or responsibly from CPS. I missed days of work waiting for a technician to help me unsderstand and was offered a whole home review but niether came to fruition. After missing days of work I called back and asked when they would be coming and they said they would be there sometime in the next 6 months. So the two days prior it was immediate help then 6 months. Hmmmm. I reported suspicious activity and called in to see if there was improvements or work order at my address as 4 ppl were on the property working. They said no. Again Hmmm. When I had seen them they did not want to answer my questions & quickly walked off my property through tall thick brush instead of using my driveway. At this point they said someone came out Oct.27 & reported there was no tampering. Someone was home but they never came to door to talk to us. Forcing myself to learn the numbers of each household product consumes I realized something wasnt adding up. *** complained for over 2yrs. & today they turned off my power without ever resolving the issue. This is as deceptive as it gets, I wonder how many other people this is happening to. We lost our central ac unit all last summer which they say is 65% if your bill. Yet our bill was the same. The monopoly that CPS has over this area allows them to bully customers because we have no other electric company options.

      I signed up 3 weeks before my move in date and never received an email with my account info, just a confirmation that I was signed up. They never answered my emails nor phone calls. a few days before move in they finally answered but gave me the wrong account number so I still couldn't log in. I called and called and no one ever picked up until the day of move in where a gentleman was very kind and apologized and helped me log in. But that was the day of move in so now because of them I have to pay a $60 vacant fee.

      I have nothing nice to say about CPS Energy. They're truly a disgrace to society and should be shut down by the government for fraudulent business practices. We should start a petition to have an option as to who we use for our electric company in ***********. Using a generator full time would be a step up from CPS Energy!

      I worked as contracted security officer for CPS and when our main contract finished I decided to move with the new company that they win the contract to secure the facilities but with the second day of hiring with them I got fired for small incidents while I was on training on that specific site with no exact details at all about the reason for firing, so they didn't cost me just my current job within with this new company after 2 days of work, but it cost me my previous work with my previous company which I could have stayed with them, that means I lost two jobs in the state of one, this company is not welcoming environment for people and a lot of prejudice people working luxury offices that they do not care for hard-working people, with high possibility for racism inside the facility and I'm stating that because you can feel it and definitely you can find other people who worked there in the past and they can State the same thing while I have the proof for that. I do not know why the state authorized another Energy company to compete with them for a good standard point which will lead to create additional jobs for other people and make healthier competitive environment for work

      Single person. Nobody ever been to my apartment. I run the fridge, a/c, and t.v when I'm home "which is rare"Consistent usage. But my bill is not consistent. It was $200 this month.Last month was 167$. I'm from **** and would pay out $80monthly/electric. ? Is it cps ? ? Are we getting robbed ? ? Is someone stealing my electric ? .....I never thought I'd be asking these questions to myself. How ridiculous.

      Contacted the company because my bill was over $107 higher than my previous month. Looking backing it was $80 higher than the last years bill for the same time. Customer ********************** stated that it was hot this month, ya it was, like every other month in *********** in the summer. It was also hot last year and my bill wasnt that large. Then he says like do you have appliance running, yes I have a fridge, like I had all year last year and this year. These responses are unintelligent at best. Then he offered to have a tech look at my meter for $25 to see if I was being overcharged. This is a ridiculous tactic, charge the customer who is already being overcharged for "usage" you and I can't explain. Can we please get another company that can serve this area. Poor, Poor poor.

      Evil evil company. I had it my account set up to autopay when ever my bill was due, after noticing I hadnt been charged in a bit, I go to check my account to see that my account had been deactivated. No communication at all. I tried to call customer **********************, but all I get is the robot telling me about all my late fees bec it hadnt been charging. I could never get ahold of anyone at customer ********************** to help, so ** still trying to figure out what to do.
