Receive multiple calls from a Robocaller. After pressing 2 to speak with someone, I am redirected to another recording where I must press 1 to speak with someone. After waiting a few minutes I get a female who speaks a name very quickly. No identification of the name of the business. They claim to have a medical payment debt but one time it has kept changing. I confirm my identification. I have told this company and have been told several different companies. I have requested to have them send the notice through the US postal service but they claim they will not unless I verify my address. Excuse me, I do not know if they are attempting to scam me and my rights by law do state that they must send through the mail upon request. If they call my number and I have stated that I am the person but I get nothing on who they are but need to "verify" my information. After 3 different times with them claiming, this is the first time they have stated a company name that has been verified to exist. They refuse to send through the mail unless I give them all this information. If they own the debt and I claim to be the person requesting them to stop calling and send through the US mail then they must comply. I do not need to give them all my information which they should have. Each female I have spoken to also do not give me the same name when asked who they are and what company. I have even been told to go to the main office to verify my information and get the information I need. The medical bill claimed also is not correct either. The claim is with an orthopedic surgeon of *********** but they do not state the actual name of the orthopedic surgeon. They also claim different dates. The only bill I still owe on is with a different doctor and that is being taken care of directly with the doctor. When asked about any closed debt from last year, they request the information directly with the proper department and none show up on my record.
