I contacted Annies cleaning service on May 20, 2024 and scheduled service for May 22. They then rescheduled for the morning of May 24. They had not arrived by noon so I reach out, and instead of taking ownership they said it was my fault they didnt come, but they would send someone that afternoon.At 8:30pm on May 24, I got a message that the cleaning was done and I owed $135. I wanted to verify the work first, but my tenant wasnt home. She said if I didnt pay by 12 AM she would add a $30 late fee. I did. It hear from my tenant by 11 pm so I paid the $135.Later, my tenant sent me photos showing the worst cleaning job possible as if nothing had been done at all. I contacted ****, the owner, but instead of acknowledging my concerns and offering to remedy, even though I had sent photos of the mess, instead she congratulated herself on a mediocre job done. She was condescending and rude while I was trying to peacefully resolve the issue and then she blocked me on ********* 2 days later, *** now received an unsolicited text from her, mocking me, and laughing about the nice vacation she is having.Initial Complaint

I paid $140 on 8/10 for a cleaning service that was not performed to basic expectations. The list of what the clean entails was not performed. I reached out to her to send some feedback and encountered a level of disrespect from the owner that I never could have anticipated. No attempt to remedy the situation. On the same day 8/10 she has sent a made up invoice claiming late fee. Her business is getting first time customers in and then harassing them with made up invoices, sending people to claims and bullying/disrespecting her potential ************* current employees.Initial Complaint

Agreed upon services were not rendered and when approaching the business owner, was met with hostility. Was charged for 5 hours of cleaning at $40/hr and only 3.5 was done. No offer of completion of services and owners yelp page shows proof of owners continuance to not comply to previous agreements and threaten those who offer feedback or attempt to collect a refund.Initial Complaint

I hired this company for a move-in deep clean and was extremely disappointed with their service and overall demeanor. I was quoted and paid $225 via Venmo, transaction ID *******************, on 2/25/2023. While the quote and list of services provided looked promising (uploaded), the job was not completed to my satisfaction nor was the deep cleaning list close to completed. The house was empty except for a few toys I had brought over. And was mostly clean as the previous owners cleaned before showing and closing on the home. There were a few areas that I knew needed some extra attention: the pantry and kitchen cabinets. I told ***** this and all was good and would not be a problem. The cleaner arrived late on that day but "finished" the job. I came the next day to find that the **************** cabinets were not cleaned properly, with ************* still present inside all. Other areas from the check list were also not clean, but not a big deal to me so I ignored that. I sent her ************** explained that her cleaner was tired & said she would send someone the next day to fix this. Ok, sometimes people have bad days. A new cleaner came the next day & cleaned the pantry & inside 1 cabinet. The house was still not "clean". ***** contacted me for additional payment for the additional time that had to be spent cleaning. If they needed additional time, the could've just said that in the first place instead of saying the cleaner was tired and having a bad day and therefore inefficient and ineffective -- my end result shouldn't be devalued for these reasons. I was shocked by the unprofessional communication that followed, which included immediately threatening to send the invoice to collections when I tried to discuss the matter with her. I never asked for a discount or refund, but do not want to pay additional money for a failed correction to a service I didn't actually receive. I can not reject the invoice & within hours added on an additional $90 late payment fee.Initial Complaint

-3/15/2023 -$165.00 -3 hours of house cleaning -The business owner has been derogatory and made personal remarks to my family and me when we notified her that my 2-year-old child had COVID and the service couldn't take place today when the worker showed up. The owner of the business called and messaged multiple times threatening to take me to collections where she WOULD receive her money. She proactively charged us a 3-day late fee for non-payment and informed us she sent us to collections after asking for her to not contact us any further she continued to call and message us with harassing language and remarks with no consideration of our child being sick but simply wanting her money for no services being provided. -The business owner has tried to resolve the issue by charging us more than the agreed-upon service for no actual service taking place. -Invoice #******Initial Complaint

I had a cleaning service done at the end of December 2022, and while the service was not at all what was advertised or spoken about directly with the owner, I ended up paying the overall fee for the service. It is now March of 2023 and the owner of this business has sent me a new invoice for the same past service of triple the amount (claiming late fees) saying I did not pay the original fee and has sent the invoice to a collection agency. I do in fact have the bank statement to prove that I did pay this fee months ago. This business is trying to collect even more money under false statements. I have attached the screenshot of my bank statement confirming I paid the amount she gave me back in January, as well as the message from the business.Initial Complaint

I made an appointment for my house to be cleaned on a Monday-November 28. I cancelled on November 26 and asked to reschedule bc of a work emergency. They said ok, but you owe $50 for not canceling within 48 hours. I didnt respond right away and by December 1st they said I owed the $50 plus 3-days at $30 for a total of $140. I offered to pay the $50 and they said no its going to collections-do not contact us anymore.
