      I would NOT recommend this company! They would not allow us to use our own insurance and REQUIRED that we pay an additional $125 for their coverage, even though we are covered under both my CC and our insurance. Additionally, they required a security deposit of $500 for a basic car....I've NEVER had to pay more than $200 for a deposit for just a regular car. The wait time took about 45 minutes to an hour and the process was ridiculous. Do not use this company...they are scammers. What you pay for is not what you get!

      All should be forewarned from renting from this firm. They intentionally mislead on the price of the vehicle, meaning i had a copy of my paid confirmation and when I arrived what was supposed to be $297 grew to $701. There is no recourse because after waiting for over 3 days for a call back turns out all offices are independently owned and I was advised that the Manager at the ****** location has decided that their additional charges stand. No Corporate customer service, nothing. Here are the facts.Went on line. Pre-pay price was a savings. Total cost on my cc was $297. Specifically needed a 7-passenger vehicle checked for an GMC Acadia or similar. My flight is delayed then rerouted to refuel. I call and advise i will be very late arriving customer service number advises ok.I arrive person at Counter says I am getting a Terrain, that is a 5 passenger vehicle, not 7 passenger. He says that is what is reserved I advise that i actually am a vendor for an automotive manufacturer and that I know what i reserved. He than agrees they have a Traverse for me (yes it is a 7 passenger vehicle) Next he asks for payment, advise paid on line paid in full. He then advises he does not see that. I advise let me look through my phone sure i have the confirmation. Then he says oh yes, see it pre-paid. Then comes what at this point I believe to be intentionally misleading me to get me to spend more. On-line i had already advised no need for insurance. He advises me that their insurance coverage policy is different. I say i have coverage. He says again theirs is different. That if the vehicle is out of use for anything any days it has to be repaired i will be charged the rental price for those days. Out of fear i agree. When I called to question this when I returned. **************** advise that is not true. BUT ***** will not refund those moneys. I was advised by them that the only recourse I would have is to hire a lawyer. All beware of Nucar rentals.

      My experience with NU Car Rental was beyond frustrating. After my delayed flight, I had to take a bus to their rental location, which was in a sketchy area. Another rental company there even warned me that NU Car Rental could take hours to pick customers up they were kind enough to offer me a ride over.Once I arrived, I waited 45 minutes at the counter for the car I had already reserved, only to be told they had given my car away to someone else! The staff showed zero accountability or concern for the inconvenience they caused.I requested a refund immediately, but over two weeks later, Im still waiting for my money back. I had to pay for my own transportation to my hotel because they flatly stated, We dont give ******** Car Rental is unprofessional, unreliable, and completely disorganized. Save yourself the stress and book with literally any other company this was the worst rental experience Ive ever had.

      I will not use this company again. Had a scheduling conflict with my return day and requested a one day extension. They told me it would be 150 for the day!!! I only paid a little over 200 for 5 days. Total rip off. Not to mention their toll policy. If you dont purchase their plan at 20 per day if you use a toll Rd its 35 plus the toll amount. I am reading other reviews discussing insurance charges that were not authorized so hopefully wont be an issue. They required a 500 deposit.. we shall see.

      Rented a car at ****************************************. Was charged TWICE for airport fee, and credit card fee, but the second duplicate charged were invoiced and charged to my credit card after I returned the car, was total everything was paid, and then had left the property. When I called to reverse the second duplicate charges, I was told the charges were correct and that they could charge me once upon renting and picking up, and then again upon returning. What a scam! Do not rent with this company!!

      Do NOT rent from this company! They charged an additional $500 "deposit" up front . When we returned the car, I asked for a final inspection report and the staff told me they had to wash the car first and could not provide it. The next day, I received the report stating there was a chip in the windshield. ***? Maybe it happened at the car wash! When I called to discuss, the representative stated that all car rental companies do it this way - charge extra and inspect after you drop the car off. I have rented plenty of cars and this has never happened before. ******************.

      Absolutely horrible service. 1st the front desk told me I needed the additional insurance and told me my insurance which is Progressive didnt cover found it hard to believe but waiting in heat with wife and a baby I agreed. And after I signed the fine print stated it was not recommended. Called my insurance to verify and told me I was covered and did not needed. Then tried to cancel and called their corporate and they told me since I agreed they will not refund the $200 insurance money. Basically I was scammed. Then when I returned the car they found a **** on the car and told me I was responsible for it. But this time I didnt fall for it. I told them I would call the cops if they held me to verify the damage and somehow all air cleared and I left. Please do yourself a favor and do not rent from them. I looked further into it and their corporate is only an answering service based on God knows where.

      Deserves negative stars. I prepaid for a car rental in capitol ones travel portal and upon arrival Nu Car Rentals said they were out of cars for the day, I was stuck for 2 hours trying to see if Capitol one can re-book me or refund my travel credit I used to pay. Then "magically" an "upgraded car" appeared, it was a banged up ****** Altima which I provided photos to *********** for my claim dispute, since I was unable to cancel on both ends, I was forced to pay the additional cost and the employee ensured me that if I take a photo of his screen, capitol one would reimburst me, which that is not the case or asking for an itemized receipt. If you look at **** almost every review is similar to mine, there are no cars available (which I understand things happen, but this is a pattern) but an upgraded car is to scam people into paying more and ******* one supports them and is showing Nepotism since it is their travel partner. Then at drop off I was charged $77 with no explanation. This company needs to close down and stop scamming people

      They had the worst customer service ever. The woman in the office was rude. She call me dumb and she was no help at all I would never deal with that company again I have never been treated so disrespectful on my life. They shouldn't be on business. I will never ever use them or recommend them
