Subject: Damaged caused by IAQ Experts (Cleaning) A/C & Heating during installation. The technician stepped on ********** floor and ***** the sheet rock in my daughters bedroom. They said they would send someone, and they did but they wanted to put a nail in existing broken dry wall and tape over and paint. Then they said they would send someone replace the drywall where damaged and fix correctly. The Company sent me an invoice that I had a 12% discount and I paid in full then they changed it to 10% discount, and I need pay $ $208 the difference with 10% discount The total was $13,000 plus and said they will not repair the damage the did while doing the installation they will only do the do the repair if I pay I pay the $208 up front for their mistake they made with billing. Bottom line I will pay the $208 but the company needs to repair the ceiling they damaged broken dry wall correctly not with a nail tape and paint as patch. Once they complete the work I will pay them the $208 even though it was their error. but *********** is trying to avoid doing the repair correctly. I have the invoices and e-mail showing they said they would do the repair and showing the mistake of a 10% and 12% was there mistake not mine. I only want the drywall replaced and finished correctly to match existing ceiling. and pay the $208 but only after they do the repair because I have no guarantee that they will do the repair correct. Regarding the invoice, it is clear that we erroneously gave a 12% discount, instead of a 10% discount. This created a difference of $208. The 10% discount is customary.
From the inception, IAQ attempted to repair the sheetrock. Unfortunately, complainant was not in agreement with our repair process and she refused for our contractor to complete the repairs. Nonetheless, the sheetrock that was accidently damaged during installation has been completely repaired.
The only outstanding matter on this complaint is the payment of the $208 on complainant's account at **********************.
If further information is needed, please let us know. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this matter, and we are hopeful it be removed.

I am rejecting this response because: The response back from IAQ is inaccurate and they a lying thy have not received the money because they have not completed the job yet. The person repairing the celling has not completed they where supposed finish painting but call and said they would reschedule for this week again not a problem to pay the remainder of bill once they complete final painting on ceiling. .. *********** called my wife and told her because they received a second latter from BBB they would no longer hoer the warranty for the New Air Conditioner they installed. and that they don't care what the BBB says. The real reason the company wont respond is because the new they installed is not working correctly the unit runs but doesn't distribute Air thorough the ducts their for not cooling the house. you can see that the unit is suppose 10 Year Warranty for parts 1 Year Install Labor*********** is told my wife that because we filed a complaint to BBB they will not honor the Warranty and care what the BBB says. Do I need to file second complaint requiring them not honoring Warranty or giving person why the new unit is not cooling the house. The response has been that they don't have an HVAC person and the person that installed says its working but it doesn't cool the house at all. they sent other people that want to charge me m ore money to possible fix the issue. First they said it was the vent cover blocking the Air Flow so they removed the vent covers and still the house doesn't cool. The they said it was because I was using HEPA filters and it was blocking the Air Flow. so we replaced the Air Filters and they said it could be the vent ducts needing bigger connection box. where not sufficient. I have been the only owner for 23 years the first 2 units worked fine but the new unit they installed isn't ******* the house at all.

We stand by the workmanship provided to the Dempseys. We had the fact that when we first inspected the house (which they were not living in) the air conditioner was not working; therefore, we were not able to test the air flow in the house. Note, we have waived the outstanding balance on the account. Additionally, we sent a reputable air conditioning company to check our work that did not find anything wrong with our work. This was at a great cost to us. Nonetheless, we, again, returned to the house and tested the temperature that was found in a positive state. It is very probable the ductwork at the house is in disrepair, in need of replacement, and it is causing the airflow and temperature issues. We have honored our warranty to the fullest extend and beyond.
