Back in March of 2021 as I was getting ready to deploy, I moved all my belongings into storage with the intent of renting out my house while away. I hired Mina's Nice and Clean based on a friend's recommendation to deep clean the home so it was ready for tenants. Unfortunately, they were unable to schedule it until I had already left. After their scheduled visit my property manager went to inspect the property. He told me it looked as if no one had been there and took pictures to show me. Only a few of those are attached due to the size limit. As the home was obviously unsuitable for a new family to move into, we hired another company who he had used many times to do the job Mina's had clearly failed to do. Over a month later I received a bill from Mina's for the work they never did. Being halfway around the world at this point, I responded to their email to explain the situation and provided the pictures my property manager had taken. The owner was less than receptive. The first PDF attached is our correspondence from that time. Although we did not reach a resolution, I did not believe he was going to pursue the matter further so I did not either. This week, nearly two years later, I received a collection notice. Once again I reached out to the owner to try and resolve the situation. He steadfastly refused. This exchange is the 2nd correspondence PDF attached. Involving a debt collection agency over two years after the day in question is the reason for my delay in filing this complaint. He is attempting to collect payment for services never received. My desired resolution is for the bill to be adjusted to $0.00 and any record of this debt against my credit history be erased.
