- Additional Info:The BBB first opened an investigation on Premier Investment Fund LP in early 2014 when consumers began calling the bureau inquiring about investment opportunities. The BBB has continued to follow Government legal action and update this file through January 2016. The owner who leased the office space to Premier was contacted by the BBB. The landlord confirmed that the signature on the lease agreement was Stanley J Fortenberry. Fortenberry was previously known to this Bureau with the company Breadstreet Investments (Breadstreet.com). Breadstreet was subject to previous action by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Bureau then checked the SEC website for information on Premier Investment Fund LP and discovered that new legal action (see government action on this report) was once again pending.
Extensive interviews were conducted with potential employees that were seeking background information on the company before they accepted employment. Names formally associated with Breadstreet.com were now associated with Premier Investment Fund LP.
