              In June I ordered a part for my riding mower from Four Brothers doing business as Four Brothers Outdoor and Mowpart.com Order details Order total: $43.92 USD Date placed: Jun 18th 2022 Payment method: Braintree (PayPal) They sent me the wrong part. While similar it was not the part pictured on their web site or the part pictured on the acknowledgement of my order. It was designed to fit a different shaft and would not fit my mower. I informed them of their error and sent images to illustrate the discrepancy. Their agents first response was to imply that I was too stupid to order the right part and it was my fault. After nearly two months and an exchange of over 20 emails there has been no delivery of the correct part. Their agent finally looked at the images that I sent and acknowledged the error but still did not send the part that I ordered. Although as unsolicited merchandise I do not feel an obligation to return erroneous part, I have stated from the start and and have always been willing to return it. It is theirs and I have no use for it. This is not an exchange for a misordered part. They have never sent the part that I ordered.

              I bought a GENERAC portable generator at Amazon for $600 last year. I've only started it 6 times and let it run for 10 minutes each time. I made sure that I had recent gas with a stabilizer additive. It ran ok for a while then it started missing. I called Generac and they recommended Four Brothers. I took it out there (Royse City location) a week ago . They finally got around to me and said I needed a new carburetor. i checked on prices and found several for my model at $24-$36. Here is Four Brothers estimate for service: Labor $118.75 Parts $149.40 Shop Supplies $ 11.88 Total Charges $270.03 Total Tax $ 23.10 Balance $ 303.13 THAT IS 50% OF THE COST OF A NEW MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a total RIPOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T USE THEM THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

              We quoted you an upfront price. That is not a scam. We are not a cheap shade tree lawn mower shop. If you want excellent service with highly trained mechanics then come to us. If you cannot afford what we quote then take it somewhere else. No need to try and drag our good name through the mud. $270 is a fair price.
