The customer service during lunch at this place is unbelievable. I usually go for dinner or birthday parties there not solo. The first time I went(oct. 3rd) the server wasnt very attentive after my food was delivered . I left without leaving a tip and was charged an additional $6 on my card because she tipped herself! The second time I went she remembered me and made it uncomfortable because she decided to bring up how she didnt mean to tip herself. So that lunch I left $3 as a tip. Today I go back and there is a automatic 18% gratuity added to my ticket, which coincidentally is $5.67, close to the $6 she tipped herself before. Which by the way I had to get up and go find the server to retrieve along with a to go box. I asked why was gratuity automatically included, because the bottom of the receipt states, SUGGESTED TIP AMOUNTS, and I was told umm yes we started that last week, no this week, so I asked for a manager and was told the manager is away. She said nevermind and charged my card without the gratuity amount. I see the manager then come in to the host stand on the business phone helping a customer. When the server brings my card back she tells me you know the first time you come you did not tip, 2nd time you tip $2, I work off tips and I cant tip the chef, if you dont tip then I loose money I told her that the service industry may not be good for her because noone is REQUIRED to leave a tip. she told me well if you do not want to tip then you dont need to come back because I wont serve you. I have never in my life been told this. I tip everywhere I go as long as the service is good. This ****** was very rude everytime she serviced me and it showed. how can you expect a tip and you are giving bad service. Check your card amounts too because if you dont tip her she will tip herself!!
