    I contracted with Skylan Svcs in November 2020 to remodel 2 bathrooms as well as various other projects in my home. As someone else stated they required a 50% down deposit in order to begin the work. I was comfortable with this as they had come highly recommended. All of the work was completed in January 2021. In March I received a release of lien. InnSeptember 2021 I contacted to Skylan to repair the master shower because the installer stripped a s**** in the hardware which was impacting the water flow to the shower head. They repaired the stripped s**** In November 2021 I contacted Skylan about a leak in the master bathtub. I sent multiple texts, exchanged several calls with the owner. He told me that the freeze in February 2021 could have broken the pipes. I explained that the tub had just started leaking. I was told he would get the guy that installed the tub to come out. I sent several more texts into December asking when he would come. It is now March 2022 and I just gave up. The 2 year workmanship warranty they provided isnt worth the paper its written on. Buyer beware.

    ***************, How can we help? If you are still in need of a plumber to fix your "non remodel related service work" we would be happy to assist in getting you a trusted contact. I was not aware that the plumber I asked to call you twice has not contacted you yet. I did send them your info and they did say they would call! Ma'am please know that we always honor our warranty and to this date have never had a unhappy client or warranty work that has not been completed, however your issue is not warranty related nor from faulty workmanship. Per our conversation we did several leak test and checks prior to completion of your project. In fact it has been well over 1 year with no leak or no issue with our work, you did experience this leak after the big freeze that affected almost every home in ****** and when we spoke I did explain that our warranty does not cover damage due to freezing temperatures for that is out of our control and is not a workmanship related issue, as a curtesy I did tell you that I would ask the plumber to call you directly to assist in any service work you may need as a referral from us.Yes Ma'am we did come to address a warranty call which was a s**** that held in the cover plate that goes over the valve in the shower "which is in a different area then the tub which you are having an issue". That plate s**** was attached to a cover plate and appeared that the s**** was stripped when trying to be removed by someone other than us and has no function that would impede water flow. However we did replace the cover plate s**** at no charge to you and resolved the issue. When we completed your project you were completely happy with us, our service and work we performed. Just please understand that this situation is of no relation with the work we did and if it was we would pay to get it fixed for you!If you are still experiencing this leak we would be happy to assist and get you to a trusted partner that can help.
