I am sorry you feel that way. Our company values the opinions and feedback from our customers, may I ask what course you took with us and I can look up what happened with your card or if there was a delay in delivery. I am not unable to find you in our system by your email and would like to narrow down the search to see what happened.Review from Amanda G

I wish I could give zero stars. Seriously so frustrating. My son signed up for their snowmobile safety class, started taking the course successfully. He tried to log in today to keep going and got an error that it was the incorrect username or password. It wasn't. After multiple attempts at contacting customer service, only to get a busy signal for over an hour I just created another account and figured I would cut my losses with the money. Got registered and logged in no problem...logged out and once again couldn't log back in with an error that we were using the wrong username or password. We weren't. I went through the same thing this summer with the same company when I registered my kids for boaters safety. Multiple emails, multiple phone calls, no calls or emails back....just out the money. I have received multiple charges over the past couple of months on a monthly charge that I did not apply for. I have tried emailing multiple times but no answer was ever received. I would like a refund. when I try to go to my account there is an error every time. Therefore I cannot even take my card off their website. We apologize for any confusion. It appears that when registering for Colby's Boat-ed.com course it was aditionally selected to sign up for Today's adventure at check out. That's a subscription to all of our courses for 9.99 a mo, First month is free, until it's canceled by logging into the course and canceling it.
A billing notification is sent prior to billing each month to the email used to register for the course. It doesn't appear that any other courses were signed up for. We don't see any email attempts from this email or any calls in our database from phone the number (XXX) XXX-XXXX listed on his profile. We have canceled the subscription for you. If you wish to reactivate it the course will just need to be logged into and under edit profile you will need to select reactivate subscription. If you are wanting a courtesy refund for the last 2 charges please call us or email us with your request. We provide support from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. EST, seven days a week.

As everyone else has stated they will add a $9.95 monthly charge to your credit card if you sign up for a one-time course and this will not be specified anywhere. I signed up for a one time boaters ed course and was informed by their automated email service over a month later that my card would be billed monthly in 3 days (this was before labor day weekend). Not only do they not answer the phone, but they will also not return any of your emails. DO NOT under any circumstances do business with Kalkomey Enterprises. I have no earthly idea how they are even allowed to provide testing for government safety courses. I will be disputing all of their charges through my bank. HORRIBLE and down right shady way to do business.Review from Jim C.

Similar to other reviews - beware they will add a $9.95 monthly charge to your credit card if you sign up for a one-time course. Don't use this company and they should not be authorized to provide testing for any gov't related safety course. Beware! You sign up for a course and pay then later find out it is a monthly subscription. I have tried numerous times to cancel by email, online and phone. No one answers the phone and you are left on hold for days. If you press 1 to have them give you a call back when a customer service specialist is available, NO ONE WILL CALL BACK. I am so sorry you had this experience with us, we strive to have excellent customer service. Our courses are not a monthly subscription, there is a one time fee to take the course and get certified and all of our courses are approved by the state. The monthly subscription you are speaking is our Todays Adventure monthly subscription, when you create an account with us you are asked if you like to Opt-In to Todays Adventure, you are given the option to opt in or decline. Along with upon check out, if you have optted in you are given another opportunity to remove Todays Adventure subscription.
Todays Adventure is our monthly subscription service where you can log into your account on todaysadventure.com and take additional course/get certified in other outdoor programs from scuba diving to hunting to boating for a monthly fee of $9.99.
Our call back system is programed on a first come, first serve basis, meaning if you press 1 for a call back instead of holding, you do not lose your place in line and our automated system calls you back when it is your place in line. This is an automated call to you, where you the system advised you an agent is ready to assist you and to press 1 to be connected to the agent.
I have found your account with us, phone number ending 0903, where you called our office on 8/4/2021, four times. This first two times, you called at 10:10 Am & 10:46am and abandoned your call as our lines were busy and you did not request a call back. You then called back on the same day at 11:16 am and 5:19pm requesting call backs. Our system called you back at 1:18 pm and then at 7:38 pm, the system waited 2 minutes for you to press 1 to connect the call to a representative to help you, when this was not done the system disconnected the call.
Again I apologize that you are having trouble reaching, we are more than happy to help rectify this, I will have a customer service representative reach out to you today.Review from Glen S

I registered for the Illinois Boat Ed Course through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). The course is listed as costing $34.95. Later I received a charge to my credit card for $44.95 from "Kalkomey Enterprises" in TX. I have tried to call Kalkomey to correct the charge but they do not answer the phone. Based on other reviews this company seems to be fradulant. Why does IDNR allow them to offer this course?Review from Anna J

My daughter took an online boating course through this company. We live in the state of WA. Since December of 2019 they have continued to charge our account $11.01 every month. I. spoke to a customer service representative a year ago. The charges continue. I have finally had our bank block any further transactions. I have tried to call on several other occasions (both the 800 and the 214 numbers) and have been on hold 30 minutes or longer. I have tried to email them via their website, but once I press "submit" the message is processing but never sent. I have a sent an email to their info email address, no reply. This seems to me to be a complete scam.
