In April 2023, I filed a complaint with the Attorney General of ***** office regarding Cass Real Estate and owner *******************. Five minutes after telling ***** we were moving out. I received a text message stating the electrician would be there at the end of the week. We moved out in May because the owners were aware that the electrical wiring was bad, & the owners nor the rental property company would do anything about it. I dealt with this issue & other issues for several months. Since I work from home, I could not take any time off for them to come and fix the electrical. We moved out May 19th returned the ************* door remotes to them) on May 21. I have asked several times about getting my deposit back. I have not received any response, however that is normal for them. Our rent was $1350 for a two bedroom & one & half bathroom house. I only paid $1300 for **** rent due to the fact that nothing would get done around there. I have attached a detailed letter of why I did not pay the extra $50. I also told them since we are having to break our lease because of the electrical I would not be paying any of the late ***** breaking the lease ***** ********* like that. We put a ton of money in that house (we bought mini blinds for all of the windows, bought the paint & painted the place before we even moved in, bought a new mailbox because the other one was so rusted it was about to fall apart, bought all new ceiling fans because the others did not work, we had to buy a fridge because there was not one, & the bathroom flooded because the line going to the toilet & the wall busted, we had to borrow the money for the wet/dry vac so we could clean it up).
