    I am formally filing a complaint due to the lack of response and willing to take legal tender. *** claim #***** I have sent multiple messages on the *** portal with no response, I have called the *** customer service line multiple times over the past few weeks with no help even asking for escelation to a manager with no call back and no follow up response. I have paid my copay for *** claim #***** through my insurance provider. Instamed sent *** my $50 copay in the form of an Instamed card that was sent *********. Instamed Case #: CASE-******** Instamed Phone number: ************** Email: ******************** I PAID my $50 copay bill to cigna and I am still being contacted by *** for non payment and being threatened with late payments via email, phone and texts. No one was willing to take cash or card during my visit as they had closed out the systmes and just wanted to go home. Below outlines all relative details of my Cigna medical bill payment.     I have been a long standing customer of village health partners along with my family (husband +2 kids) . While my kids and my spouse have had ailments and visited the medical center, I did not have a reason to visit in the last 3 years. On my current visit to the office for flu symptoms the doctor performed RTPCR and Flu tests. I was charged $170 as a new patient. When I asked for an explanation I was bounced from the billing department to the front desk with no clear explanation. I called my insurance provider and they indicated that I should contest the claim I have called the front desk for an explanation who have agreed to escalate the charges to billing. There was no additional work for keeping me in the system ; I dont see the reason to charge a customer $170 for staying healthy and not visiting them. This is the first time i visited a medical Centre and returned with no treatment and just a huge bill. The doctor had not provided me any medication or treatment for the symptoms. The medical centre's reputation has been falling for a few years but it appears that all departments are failing front desk, billing, doctors, outpatient care or proactively informing patients about HIDDEN costs.
