    Landon Builders in ********* community, ******, have consistently failed to uphold their builder warranty obligations, resorting to subpar solutions and neglectful practices to evade legitimate repair responsibilities. Despite being alerted to issues such as malfunctioning cabinets, their response has been dismissive, suggesting ineffective remedies like adding grease without proper documentation. Even when I persist, they conveniently cite warranty expiration and vendor unavailability to ***** accountability, leaving homeowners stranded with unresolved issues. This pattern of negligence extends beyond individual cases, permeating the entire community with pervasive problems ranging from roof leaks to significant drywall cracks. Landon Builders' lack of commitment to quality and customer satisfaction poses a significant risk to prospective homebuyers, warranting caution and avoidance of their properties.

    The warranty process on our homes is explained and provided to the customer prior to purchasing their home. It is well defined and the warranty team that provides service to the homeowners is well versed in what should be covered and what is not. With that in mind the warranty managers are also instructed to meet with homeowners prior to the end of the first year in order to determine any items that need to be addressed before the first-year warranty ends. This process has been followed with this customer yet demands continue to be made for issues after the end of the first-year coverage. The long-term warranty program with Strucsure Home Warranty is designed to address major structural issues that *** occur. Landon Homes feels confident they are addressing and handling any items that fall within the warranty process.

    Roof started leaking in 8 months in *************** community in ******. Support person unable to simulate and fix. Putting some glue without simulation did not help. Proper stress testing not done looks like after initial construction. Master bedroom started leaking whenver there is big rain. The team which designed and built initially is not the team fixing it, so there is gap in understanding of current design.

    Landon Homes received a warranty request to fix a roof leak on May 5, 2024 from **************. On May 6, 2024 Southern Roofing was contacted to schedule a service call which they did and set for May 7, 2024.Upon inspecting the home a hole in the sealant around the step flashing was found and sealed. At the same time the boots and vents in that area were sealed and a water test was performed. At that time no leak was detected and the customer was notified. On May 12, 2024 another storm blew through and a second leak was observed by **************. Landon Homes was notified and ******* Roofing was requested to perform another service call to locate this issue. They are scheduled for service on May 15, 2024. It is an unfortunate situation to have this occur; however, we are doing the necessary repairs to make sure the customer is taken care of and their home is fixed properly and in a timely manner. We will continue to address this issue until all items are satisfied.

    I have personally observed multiple instances of racism exhibited by *******************************, contributing to an incredibly unpleasant and unprofessional work environment. Despite addressing these specific issues with corporate, the lack of care demonstrated is disheartening. My purpose in writing this is to express deep concern regarding the business's wrongful operations, which not only create hostile workplace but also may result in financial gains at the expense of discriminated clientele.

    This review was written by a former, disgruntled employee of Landon Homes who was let go from the company after concerns about her performance and customer complaints. We take all accusations about racism and our work culture very seriously, and in response to this review, launched an investigation into her claims as soon as we received them. After review, we find her claims to be unfounded and untrue, and very harmful to the salesperson targeted. Landon Homes will not hesitate to take action should this libel against Landon Homes or its employees continue.
