Work performed by ProArmour was subpar. Have made many attempts via email, voicemail and text to have a warranty evaluation of the flooring performed. We have not received any return correspondence from John R********, ProArmour owner. In the interim, we have had the flooring evaluated by another professional who has confirmed the flooring application was done incorrectly and not to industry standards.

I first contacted the Pro Armour Concrete Coatings on February 14th about the surfacing they installed on garage floors and patios. I was contacted by Valerie who said she was the owner. She insisted that she come by and take a look and give me a bid for the work being performed.

On the morning of February 16th Valerie and her husband, John, came by to assess the job and give me a bid.

After that time I tried to decide what I was going to do. On May 4th, I contacted Valerie and she asked me to sign the contract to do the work. I signed the contract and wrote a check for $ 2,265.00 which represented half of the total bill of 4.530.00. Upon signing they insisted that I leave the check under the door mat so they could pick it up rater than me mail the check. I thought that was a bit off but did so. They picked the check up and cashed it on 5/9.

After paying the deposit I spent time trying to arrange clearing out my garage so they could do their work. With the traveling I do it took me a while to get all things in order for them to come out to do the work.

On July 20th I attempted to call Valerie a couple of time to set up a day for the them to start the job. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful with my calls. Then i tried to send text messages thinking this may be more effective since they may be too busy to talk on the phone. Again, no response.

On July 26th I contacted the Better Business Bureau to see if they were still in business and they informed me they were. They also sent me a report on the contactor and little did I know what has happened to me is a pattern experienced by several others.

Hard working consumers do not deserve being taken advantage by scammers. I just want my money back and let them practice taking advantage of others on someone like themselves.

I would appreciate any help you can give me. Contractors like this have got to be stopped.
