In February 2022 Company was called to give me a quote on air conditioning repair work. A worker came when scheduled and looked at the unit and left. Was later contacted by the company owner, **** and I agreed to the repairs that he quoted. **** calls and asks if he could come to the house and look at the unit himself. I agreed. He came to the house and went in the attic(where the unit is located) and stayed up there for roughly an hour and then comes down and tells me that we need additional work which then changed the repair estimate significantly. I told him at that time I would think about the repairs. I ended up seeking a second quote for the repairs. The second quote was much better so I selected them for the work. **** called me and asked why I used someone else for the work and was very upset. At that point, he told me he would send me an invoice for work he did. He never did one thing to repair the system. I never saw an invoice. He then called a few months later asking about his payment. I told him I never saw his invoice. A few weeks later I end up receiving an invoice totaling $326.19. The invoice is for 2 hours of labor, a service fee, and a leak detector. He never did any work. We simply asked for a quote. Today, 12/3/22 **** shows up at my door with the invoice threatening a lien to be filed if he wasn't paid. We asked him to leave and he did not. We attempted the shut the door and he physically tried to enter my home while my children were here. This is completely unacceptable for a business to conduct themselves in a threatening manner. He is angry he did not get the job.
