IHC is a predatory company pushing a dangerous and untested lowering kit product on the newer 2021 and up F-150. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. My shop (*** ***********) and I attempted to work with IHC over 2 days of the installation to resolve the structural issues with the kit. They were completely unresponsive in aiding us. We/the shop were blamed for all the issues with the kit and as we did things that they requested to move the process forward and supplied factual evidence, their story constantly changed. To make clear this is NOT a matter of the kit not working well or drives poorly; it’s a matter of the kit cannot be installed or used because of the poor quality of engineering, and if it was, it would yield a highly dangerous and unsafe situation for the truck and cause damage. ***s concern was that the rear axel when installed as IHCs kit recommended, under load will roll out and rip the driveshaft with it, causing major damage. When the IHC tech was asked if this kit would cause the rear axel to roll out and cause massive damage to the truck, they assured us there is 0% chance of this happening. After doing some research we found this forum post from another customer with one of their similar kits and equipment: https://www*************************************************************/ What IHC guaranteed over the phone would NEVER happen, did happen to another customer. This customer went to IHC and IHC ACKNOWLADGED the issue and tried to work with them, which means they KNEW this is a problem, yet denied it to us over the phone. IHC would have to pay for the uninstall and the time and cost in labor in addition to taking the kit back, which of course they will not do. I have NEVER in the entire time I’ve been modifying cars (10 years) worked with a company in the car community that has been so recalcitrant and incompetent on working to resolve the issue, especially when so many serious flaws have been proven with their kit. Buyer beware, DO NOT buy an IHC kit.
