Our overall experience has been subpar from start to finish. I hope that this will warn others to avoid AutoNation Hyundai and AutoNation altogether. The business as a whole is deceptive and unprofessional. The service center is lacking in communication skills and respect for customers. The company has deceptive practices regarding pushing the extended warranty that is useless. When my daughter's car needed repairs, they included a list of maintenance items such as an oil change - she had the oil changed less than 30 days prior elsewhere. They recommended $5K in repairs- Obviously checking boxes to see what people will pay for. On top of that, the very expensive Gold plan warranty we purchased for $2,650, which we have never used, has more exclusions than they lead you to believe and ultimately they will decline any work you need done regardless of it being necessary for safety reasons. Safety is not a priority with them. I know Hyundai has had recalls on the airbags with the same year and model we have, yet ours is somehow not included. Also, the people who work in the warranty call center are not intelligent enough to make any determination or have a conversation regarding any issue whatsoever, so calling them is a waste of time. It is a copy and paste conversation. I honestly had hoped the dealership would make good on a promise to take care of customers and help us, but that opportunity has come and gone. They would instead rather burn a bridge and lose a customer. When we first bought the car years ago, we had issues with the finance person filling out paperwork wrong and taking a lot of our time to accommodate him to make things right. And now in hindsight, I wish I had walked away then. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt. They took advantage of us and took $2,650, have been unprofessional and completely unaccommodating to us. I sent my daughter there expecting her to be treated professionally and with respect, yet it was the opposite.

AutoNation Hyundai in North Richland Hills, TX, is a predatory dealership that lies, cheats, and exploits customers. My experience was appalling, and BBB/******** complaints confirm their shady pattern. With an 820 FICO score, Ive earned great rates through discipline, but they tried to scam me for profit. They pushed a 7.99% APR, falsely claiming I couldnt get outside financing. I secured 6.49% for a 60-month loan from their lenders, proving their lie. Their rate sheet for 6.49% ($4,000 down) inflated payments by $50/monthpure greed for kickbacks. Sales Manager **** had the nerve to say I was wanting too much for expecting a fair rate. LaughableI built my 820 score to save money, not fund Nicks bonuses.Worse, they advertised a car with ****** miles, confirmed by Jaden ******* After driving 30 minutes and negotiating, they revealed it had ****** milesa blatant bait-and-switch. **** called it a mistake but admitted theyd mark up the price later, showing zero remorse. This mirrors others: one was misled into a $3,900 mandatory plan, another waited eight months for a promised key fob.**** and Jadens arrogance, plus complaints of warranty cancellations and botched service, show a dealership built on deceit. Im filing with the ******** for Deceptive Trade Practices Act violations. Avoid this placecheck their BBB profile for proof. Bring your own financing and verify everything, or shop elsewhere. They dont deserve your trust.

contacted salesman about a new hyundai elantra.. they had a low finance rate of 1.99% My trade in was appraised at ****** dollars I owed less than *****, I refused the offer as my veteran status was not mentioned. The veteran discount was added and the offer for trade in raised to offer to *****, We continued to negotiate. I was told that hyundai had a program to cover dents and scratches for $ ******. In the finance office I was told that the money was used to lower the price of the car At this point I was never asked if Iwanted a test drive the vehicle I chose. As it turns out the vehicle had not been cleared by make ready as mechancs had left for the day. They were to deliver the car before noon the next day. Did not happen. When delivered it had dealer tags, but no inspection sticker. I was told that this would take 5 to 6 weeks more. I am still waiting for both.

From the day I spoke with ******************* and he chose this car for me first mistake. Second mistake was calling him and asking for his help with the screen that wasn't working. Third mistake. Trusting him and his fellow coworkers. They called me back four different times in a 2-month span to change contract information where I was never told that my warranty changed and that I didn't have. Actually it was supposed to start over each time I signed that contract. Finally after trying to call get someone to help me with the matters I had with the car they just kept ignoring my calls, pushing it to someone else who wasn't going to answer the phone either until I finally went down there. Then even after that they still made me wait so long that I couldn't even use the warranty that I had first off because he never redid it. According to the last date of the paperwork that I had signed. Never explained why I had to keep resigning paperwork. Then once it did go in the shop they didn't keep their word on fixing the other repairs that they told me they would. After that I had to call corporate. I've had to call them several times. Turns out they are friends with the guy that is giving me a hard time. So he does call me to tell me to take it to quote his friend at another store which it only goes from there that he didn't treat me any better. He didn't take any care or concern to my car fixed. A couple of small things gave it back and still did not fix the suspension on my car which was the second thing that needed to be done to this car. Keep in mind when I took it home and put my VIN number in the computer trying to find help with the display because they told me they wouldn't fix that. Find out that it has a major fire recall finding out after that they are supposed to do 125-point inspection on all their cars before they sell them. They did not do that to my car. The list could go on and on. I made a mistake coming here y'all . I'm simply telling you Please do your research

Bait & switch dealership. Do not have the car they tell you they do. I asked for an Availability on a 2023 *******************. They said they have it and it was waiting for me to test drive. Drove almost ******************************************** a different car that was $1000.00 higher. When I ask for the car I drove over to see, they said they do not have it. I liked the one I drove over to see but because they were dishonest I left. I went over there with the intension of buying the one I ask about. I was paying cash for the total. Never believe the "Availability "you send. they lie. Its a ************** Plus the one that they showed me had ***** more miles on it than the one I ask to see.

I bought my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport in Oct 2021, with the mileage at ******. For the first year and a half my car ran great, and I had no issues, but as soon as my car reached close to ******* miles my car started burning oil like crazy. I've always kept up on my oil changes and even got the oil changed before it was due because my car had little to no oil in it because those engines burn excessive oil. On Saturday 3/23/24 my engine blew while I was driving. No engine light came on, or any indication that my engine was having problems. I just got my oil changed the week prior, so I knew it had oil in there. I called Hyundai Auto Nation where I purchased my car and after calling and leaving messages, I finally got a call back and they said I don't have a warranty and there is nothing they can do because I'm not the original owner and the extended warranty only covers the original purchaser and since I didn't buy it brand new then I'm it's not covered. I still owe $13,000 on the car and the car only has ******* miles on it. There is no reason for a 7-year-old car to have the engine blown and then for the manufacture not to do anything about it. I have read so many complaints regarding these engines and the excessive oil consumption on these vehicles and Hyundai doesn't want to take care of their customers and replace the engine when they know there is a huge problem with the engines. Now I'm at a standstill because I owe so much money on my car and I have no way to come up with thousands of dollars to pay for a new engine. So, I am now going to obtain an attorney and go after Hyundai, and we will fight this out in court. Don't EVER buy a Hyundai, they know they have engine problems as soon as the car gets close to ******* miles and wont do anything to make it right!!!

Finance ***************** was literally the worse person I have ever dealt with as far going through the car buying process. He didnt care for a single thing but adding everything he wanted to the vehicle. Told him multiple times to remove added packages and questioned me like I was an idiot when I told him I did not want them. Every time I told him to remove them he got extremely condescending towards me. Basically didnt care. If you are a first time parent and looking for a family car dont go here. Dude is absolutely the worse person on earth.

Lousy dealership. They diagnosed my car and the power relay assembly was at fault. Hybrid system warning kept going off. So when I spoke to the customer service representative in person I said it's a warranty part can you service the vehicle here. I was told no. He said take it back to *********** Hyundai since they worked on the car originally. So I paid over $200 to have the car towed to another Hyundai dealership for a part that is under warranty and has a recall because North Richland Hills Hyundai didn't want to honor Hyundai Corporation policies. Pretty sad dealership if you ask me. No customer service at this dealership at all. Also tried to get me to sign off on over $4,000 in repairs that were already completed by *********** Hyundai a few months earlier. I feel sorry for anyone who goes to North Richland Hills Hyundai for service. They only care about money and are completely dishonest when telling you the truth about your vehicle. I'll never buy a Hyundai again or **** They employ some shady characters that lie to customers and don't back warranty work when it's needed.

They consistently have taken about 3 hours for simple oil changes. It shows a lack of regard for time and inefficiency.
