1 starI am writing this review to formally address a serious concern regarding an incident that occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2025, during my visit to the dealership at Nissan of New Braunfels. My family and I drove from ********** to inquire about a used 2023 ****** Tundra (VIN *****************), which was listed online at a price of $30,995 on Friday, April 25, 2025. We arrived at the dealership at 1:30 pm and met with a sales representative, *****.Upon arriving, my son was asked to complete a personal information form, after which ***** returned and offered us a price of $33,995, which was $3,000 above the advertised price. When we questioned this discrepancy, ***** stated that today is a new day, and prices change. We then presented the online listing for the vehicle, showing it was now listed at $31,995. ***** disregarded this information, claiming that due to tariffs, the price had increased.Furthermore, ***** falsely stated that the vehicle was equipped with an APEX package, which was clearly untrue, as the vehicle had not even been cleaned out from the previous trade-in. This misrepresentation of the vehicle's features further compounded the issue and created a misleading and unfair sales ************** is my belief that these actions constitute bait and switch tactics, which are illegal and unethical. The practice of advertising a vehicle at a certain price and then increasing that price once the customer is on-site is both deceptive and a violation of consumer protection laws. I was struggling with debt on my previous vehicle, but their team went above and beyond to help me. Not only did they find a way to get me out of my old car, but they also got me into a brand-new vehicle that I absolutely love.Ive been shopping around for a while and visited multiple dealerships, but no one could beat their prices. 1 starSave your hard earned time and money and go to one of the Nissan dealerships down the road for a used vehicle! I found the car we wanted so called the New Braunfels advisor to verify price and ensure it would be available before a 2 hour drive there. After deciding to go forward with the purchase of a vehicle listed for 19k, we were then told about required charges that were not listed as part of the price. 19k turned into 25k due to the *** and GPS additional required charges. This dealership is NOT transparent with their prices. Why even have a section to figure out your monthly payment if you're going to add these charges I have no idea about. Other Nissan dealerships do not do this. THIS DEALERSHIP IS NOT UP FRONT WITH THEIR PRICES! BEWARE!!Nissan of New Braunfels

1 starAbsolutely devastating experience in service. Had to take my car in for the 3rd time for the same issue. My frustration level is beyond 10 due to them not finding the issue. When I get there they tell me I need to do a test drive with the *******. I was under the impression that I just needed to drop the car off, get the rental and they would test drive AFTER they looked at it to go over what they are not finding I let them know I work at 9 and need to get back and he says theres nothing they can do without a test drive. So I said we can go but he kept going back and forth with me and started raising his voice saying that I was late and its my fault Im behind, had this been a dr ****** I wouldnt be seen. Anytime I tried to get a word in, he continued to talk down to me and belittle. I was in awe that this was a ******* really going back and forth with me when we could have already gone on the test drive and Id be on my way. The man then stood up moving closer next to another service worker but almost to show and prove his dominance. At this point, nothing felt safe about being alone in a car with him for a test drive. I told him he was such an a** for treating me the way he did and he started threatening me that hes not servicing my car and to get out of there because its my fault and wont deal with people like me. Threatened to call the police when I was just trying to get a word in about what is going on. Im crying at this point and have never been treated so bad by a man, let alone a professional. There is no way we will ever go back here. Even the service woman was about in tears, im sure she knew he was wrong for unprofessionalism. At this point I have my car that still needs to be fixed somewhere else, the dealership not helping now, but I felt I had to make people aware of the verbal attack. I have 4 kids and cant even feel comfortable having them in the car without worrying itll die again or not start. Im beyond disappointed.Nissan of New Braunfels

We strive for transparency and you should have been notified ahead of time from your service advisor to make an appointment. We do this so that the customer will have an expectation and we can service your vehicle in a timely and proficient manner. It seems like we did everything we could on our end to address the issue. Our team is trained and skilled and would not diagnose the problem without knowing what it was. I assure you we do not tolerate any raising of voices, or belittling customers. That is NOT how we operate our business.
I truly hope that you find a solution for your vehicle.

1 star************************* totally unacceptable, my daughter had a appointment with them today, they told her it would take 2 hours to finish the job, five hours later, my daughter checked with them midway through the ordeal they said it would take another 20 minutes, service department closed at 4pm, they left without telling my daughter that the car was finished, then my wife and daughter talked to general manager and he was a jerk, none appologited ,totally unprofessional, I only wish Id been there, its a **** shame to let companies treat their customers like this, Im going up the ladder to complain dont care if I have to go all the way to *****!! They want a rating, dont want to give them any but they wont let me post my complaint without at least 1 star which is false!Nissan of New Braunfels

Hello *****, I understand your concerns regarding our service department and would like to address them. Transparency is what we strive for and it seems there may have been a lack of communication. We notify our customers throughout the whole process from start to finish. I am not sure which day your daughter came in for her appointment, but we are open from 7 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday and 7 am to 3 pm on Saturday. We notify our service customers via call, text and video. I assure you our service team would not leave a customer waiting without notification before closing. 1 starSaw their add online for a 2024 Pathfinder. Follow all their instructions about incentives. When arrived at the dealership, I was told they would not honor the internet price and it was going to be $6000 more. I was told that incentives could not be combined, I asked them to show me in writing where it says that, they could not. **** also stated had to purchase their addons which were over $5000 such a $1500 for window tint, even though the window sticker said it was factory installed. I was told i would have to bring back the vehicle at a later date to get the addons installed. I said I don't want them they sated it was their policy that they would not sell the vehicle without them. There was no addendum sticker on the vehicle when I test drove it. They attempted to add everything on after. I was told the manager worked hard at getting my 5% financing. lol with a credit score in the high 700s. The manager refused to negotiate on my trade wanting to cheat me out of thousands. They would not even honor there $750 discount code for going to the website. Do not go there they will rip you off!!!!!! I called ******** in ********** as they had the same vehicle I was looking for. ******** gave me all the incentives from Nissan, yes combining them. They got me the Nissan financing with 2.9% and even gave me lifetime oil changes and tire rotation for free!!!!!!!! Never will I go to Nissan of New Braunfels, and I will never let my friends or even enemies go there. They are a den of ThievesNissan of New Braunfels

1 starMy complaint starts with the sales representative. He was very nice and helpful but when I told him I had good credit but only around 350. a month income coming in he stated this is not enough to buy a vehicle. He said he would just go ahead and push an income amount through which I guess he was able to do because I was able to get the car. I was not shown a breakdown of the car price for what I was paying. I went to the finance manager ******* that is listed above again friendly but trying to sell extra insurance etc. I told him I really do not want the extended warranty which he stated I could get a 5.5% if I would accept this warranty. I was ok with the oil changes and tire plan but felt pushed into the extended warranty. Come to find out I did not need this for the rate I was given. He jumped around to signature lines and never went over actual charges again. My bad for trusting car salesman. I was handed copies of invoice finally after a few signatures where I noticed the price was more than I was originally sold. Extra items and more insurance policies were added and not explained there would be additional costs. I went back on March 11, 2024 to cancel the extended warranty because I was told I had to go through the dealer. I was harassed for about 3 weeks about a survey which they were telling me they could help me fill it out to give them all good answers. I thought a review was to be filled out in private. I signed cancellation on March 11 and no copy was given to me on this. I called around April 7 withing the 30-day time frame and was assured that the paperwork was submitted to cancel the extended warranty. I called ************** directly to find out on May 15 after calling the dealership several times that the extended warranty has still not been submitted. I am pleased with my car but very disgusted with the dealership. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. *************************Nissan of New Braunfels

From the complaints mentioned in the review, the customer is correct in that we did not file the cancellation on the dates mentioned. As a good will gesture, we have issued a full refund, not a prorated amount.
Respectfully,its the only complaint we can agree with. We work tirelessly to accommodate customers with different budgets. Because the process can be overwhelming for some (which it seems is the case here), we train extensively on presenting everything we offer not only in great detail, but in ****** terms as well.Transparency is critical, and we take tremendous pride in how thorough we present.
Simply stated, there is no way for us to force a customer to sign anything. We absolutely offer value added options like extended warranties, service plans,and other things that customers typically appreciate. With that said, again, we cant make a customer sign for anything they dont want.

1 starThey do not sell cars for the listed price. They tack on $2000 before TT&L on all vehicles. Also, they charge customers for the Certification on used vehicles, even though the certification has already been preformed and the fee has been added into the sticker price.Nissan of New Braunfels
