This is a new / revised review composed on the evening of August 26, 2024 concerning my business related experiences with Performance Roofing, and its principle owner / executive, Mr. Will R***. To say I initially wrote a scathing negative review of this company back in late May, 2024, would be a large under-statement. At the time I wrote my initial review, my emotions were running very high, and very negative. Time moves on for everyone, and as it went forward and I calmed down, I was totally " blown away " when I received a phone call from Will Reid, the owner of Performance Roofing Inc. Will had to endure my verbal wrath, and after hearing all of it, he still offered to travel all the way from his home in Van Alstyne, TX. to come and personally visit with me in my home in southwest Austin, TX. to give me his thoughts and explanations -- a round trip distance of around 500 miles, I might add. To say I was impressed, is also an under-statement. Every single promise he made to me, he kept -- and on June 26, 2024, he sat inside my home office, and for over THREE hours, we had the most heart-felt, enduring, friendly business and personal chat two men could ever have about an unfortunate sequence of events that led to my initial negative review regarding his company. Will completely explained everything to my satisfaction, and while he admitted mistakes, owned up to the situation and fully apologized for them -- all of them. Even after his visit, he has subsequently contacted me by phone, and has offered his personal help with issues that don't even technically deal with roofing !! All of this, speaks HIGHLY about a man willing to literally " go the extra mile " to repair damaged relations with his company's would be client. I am personally grateful, thankful, and frankly humbled by the honesty and forth rightfulness of this man. Even though Performance Roofing Inc. has yet to do any work for my home, I feel VERY confident I might just yet utilize them - THANK YOU !
