Date Reservation for campground rally Made on May 17, 2021 for rally scheduled for March 2-7 2022. Deposit of $49.60. Merchant violated contract to provide # of RV site agreed upon As you read through emailyou will see that the merchant violated a sign contract to provide the 20 motorhome sites needed for this rally. As you can see by his own explanation in the attached emails that he willing did this, ignoring the signed contract he had provided to the rally coordinator ************. This forced *********** to seek another location for the rally even though the contract agreed to was signed off in 2021. Sunset point refused to honor their contract for providing the agreed # of sites and the used the contract to deny refunding our deposit. I am leaving town again tomorrow and will not be back until next Monday so wanted to at least get in touch with you via e-mail. Basically what happened is we had several Winter Texans, whom are normally gone by mid-January to early February, decide to stay due to all the weather conditions in their home states. As most of the Winter Texan guest have been with us since November it just wasnt possible to make them leave. A lot more goes into this short explanation, but that is the jest of why we are short 5 sites. Between now and your Rally dates there is the possibility of cancellations and or a change of heart from some of the guest(s). Should this occur your Rally members will be given those sites.
