- Additional Info:BBB received notice that A Day at Serenity has closed effective September 30, 2013. BBB was also told that management is taking necessary steps to refer clients out and negotiating someone to work out remaining gift certificates.
However, BBB has since discovered that Melissa Pena, aka Melissa A. Garcia has since resumed conducting business under several different names.
BBB was contacted by a salon owner in Lubbock stating that Melissa Pena had issued a Groupon for massage services under their salon's name. Melissa Pena did not at any time work for this particular salon nor did she have permission to post a Groupon for that salon.
BBB is currently trying to verify the status of this particular operation.
