    On 9/16/22, I visited the optometrist in need of progressive lenses and contact lenses. At the time of my initial visit, I had both contact lenses and single vision eyeglasses that worked perfectly for both eyes except for the progressive aspect. I was given an examination, a progressive glasses prescription and a trial set of contact lenses. Immediately there were vision issues with the contact lens prescription in my left eye. I let the clinic know and was brought in for another go at the contact lens. Same issue with the replacement - blurry left vision - to the extent where driving was impossible. I let the clinic know this again and was told over the phone that, in essence, this was my problem and that this blurry vision was as good as it was going to get. I was told I could order the blurry lenses or have expensive special contact lenses made - these were my options. There was pressure to order the expensive lenses or suffer through the blurry lenses. Contrary to this diagnosis, I had one pair of old prescription contact lenses that worked correctly with no blurriness issues. A few weeks later, the progressive eyeglasses crafted from the prescription from this clinic arrived and also featured blurry left vision. I called the clinic again and let them know what was going on. The clinic let me know that 1) that the issues with my left eye were my fault because they didn't personally make my glasses and that my contact lenses were just unsolvable without high expense. So, I've lost $300 (eye exam and unusable blurry contact lenses I was pressured to order over the phone). The clinic is unwilling to adequately reexamine my left eye.

    ****** failed to mention when he sent this complaint on 10/30/2022 that he had an appointment scheduled for 10/31/2022 to resolve the situation. On that visit, new glasses and contact lens prescriptions were created for his left eye. He is currently trying out the new prescription to make sure it meets his expectations. We will continue to work with him to get his problem resolved. We are perfectly willing to refund his money if needed and we told him this.
