DO NOT use Braxton Movers. We hired them for a move on July 25, 2022. It was a nightmare! They showed up in an unmarked truck, even tho their web site showed a nice marked truck. No one spoke or understood English. We didn't feel we needed to watch over their shoulders, as when we hired them we were assured they were professional movers. We should have! They were very unprofessional. They didn't have a clue how to properly move furniture. They scratched our beautiful wood floors in several places, dropped a box and a container, dropped a bird bath, breaking it, and bent the pullout tray on our antique Hoosier cabinet. When they arrived at our new destination, my husband refused to let them take any furniture inside, fearing they would scratch the floors and walls. He finally, relented, and had to help them move a desk inside. My husband had to show them how to put the desk right side up or they would have broken the legs off. Husband moved several boxes inside himself, even tho he has a bad back. We took pictures of the scratched floor, per a manager named Robert. We emailed the photos. No reply as of yet. Thank goodness I did not let them handle my fine bone china, Lladro porcelain or Waterford crystal. Braxton movers increased moving stress 100%. On top of that, we were overcharged! When husband called to report all damages, ******* only response was that it is hard to find good help. Well, if that's the case get out of the furniture moving business!!
