Slow to respond, rude, uninformed about insurance issues. They rescheduled my roof 6 times due to "weather", yet, home roofs all around me are going up. **** ***** ***** ********* ******. They are very happy to take your money but don't seem to want to do the work in a timely fashion. When you need information in a timely fashion, they are rude and dismissive, even calling my "bud", blaming it on being a small business even though they had a full week to get back to me. Unreturned emails until I threatened to go to the BBB. Then they had a response but no information. Stay away from AO1 roofing unless you love headaches, bad attitudes and slow work.

In response to the comments from Mr. ****** about slow to respond. Yes we are a little slower than usual in our response, than we are accustomed to. But we do get back to everyone, every time! We’ve had a tornado and 2 hail storm here in the last ten weeks. Every roofer and contractor in the area is backed up 3 to 5 weeks. To say we treat our employees poorly is confusing we do not have any employees. Our workers are W9 workers, I am not sure what this in reference to. Once the insurance money comes in, we do ask that you give us the first check to get your slot on the schedule and then we give you a schedule date. If there is a chance of rain, yes we will reschedule your install. If it was to rain in someone’s home, that would be the responsibility of the company to cover that, so yes, we do er on the side of caution. While were there was some navigating on Mr. ******** claim because it was a little bit unique at the end of the day, He was trying to commit insurance fraud, and we would not partake in that. Ultimately, that’s why he wrote the review because he’s going to be missing out on money that he was trying to scam out of his insurance company. That’s just not how we do business. I wish you nothing but the best he still has a lifetime warranty on the roof if he was to need anything, he would need to call into the Main line and we would be happy to take care of him. Thanks. As far as AO1 roofing response to my review, at NO TIME did I request fraud to be initiated on my behalf. I have a unique insurance situation and Mark was supposed to find out the legalities of my situation. I have no Intentions on committing any fraud, Which was discussed with Salesman Kevin P. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PROCESS. Kevin reached out to Mark prior to any money exchanged, and Mark advised Kevin that my unique situation IS legal. By "employee", I am referring to the Salesman that sold me the roof on behalf of AO1 roofing. We have not had 2 hail storms in the last 10 months that effected Deer Park. It shouldn't take more that week and a threat to the BBB to get a response regarding insurance inquiries. And an attitude and an accusation that I am attempting to commit insurance fraud to save his face. This is simply not true. I have 2 claims, from 2 separate storms from 2 different years to deal with. And am trying to navigate the proper legal recourse. AO1 has 1 claims information, not multiple insurance information. There is no way for them to even process 2 separate claims. He is lying again to save face. It has taken them more than 18 days to submit the paperwork to my insurance company and any inquiries that I made fell on deaf ears until a threat to the BBB was made.
