    I hired **** ********* from Farm Construction Services on April 30, 2025, to rebuild my patio. **** committed to the project and provided a detailed plan for the demolition and rebuild. I paid him a total of $5,975 in two installments: $2,500 on April 30 and $3,475 on May 9, covering both labor and materials. However, after receiving the second payment, **** abruptly stopped working. The installed beams are now exposed to heavy rain, causing leaks everywhere. Although he responds to some text messages, he keeps promising to resume work, call me, or come by, but he never follows through. It has been three weeks with no sign of him or any calls. Additionally, his subcontractors have complained that they have not been paid for several days of work they completed.

    In April 2025, I hired this business to do a job. I paid the owner accordingly and the job was not completed. I have been contacting the owner for several weeks to refund the difference of money paid and services performed. I have received excuse after excuse as to when he will pay but no action. I have reached out to the subcontractor and they have not been fully paid for their portion of the work either. All I want is to be refunded the $1500.00 I over paid and nothing else. I have a proposal, receipts and text communication that support the above statement. It was a proposal for $10,500.00 I paid $7,000.00 and only $5,500.00 of the job was done.

    The owner, ****, and his company came out to rebuild our fence and install a patio cover around November 2023. I paid around $3500 for labor and parts. The fence was great with no issues. The patio cover is where we are having issues when it comes to leaking from rain. I have been contacting **** almost every week for his team to come out and fix the issues. He sent someone out a few weeks after the patio cover was finished, but he merely applied some silicone/caulk on the underside of the patio cover. This did not resolve the issue. Still had numerous leaks. Again, after numerous texts and phone calls he finally got a team out here around June/July 2024. His team attempted to repair the leak. A few weeks pass and we had a big rain storm and the leaks appeared again. I have expressed to **** to come correctly fix this, refund me my money so that I can have another company do it, or we will go to small claims court. He says that he will get us "on the schedule." We are approaching almost a year and this still has not been resolved. At this point, with how much water damage there is on the wood and nails for the patio cover, I would like for them to replace the entire patio cover roof. Some of the wood is looking damaged due to water. Nails are already rusted.

    We began process to convert our garage into living space. The items listed were not completed. There was no permit pulled however work was being performed. We asked several times for permit however did not receive one (only that the design was being completed). We went in as homeowners to pull the permit. We communicated several times with our GC regarding the ******************** would be but could not receive a definite answer. Concrete that was poured is uneven & the new flooring that was laid is now coming up. He sent his crew out to redo items such as paint & flooring however, adding insulation however still not done correctly. He offered to have his team come out a 3rd time to try & correct concerns however we were exhausted with the already previous failed attempts. After several months of dealing with no completion we asked for a partial *********** informed us he would get with his payables & get back to us. It has now been an additional month and numerous attempts to get returned payment however have not heard back. Our experience was not pleasant we were patient when things came up weeks at a time with no work being done to only to be left with hiring someone else to make repairs & complete the job. We want to be fair & expected the same in return.

    Good afternoon and i appreciate this being brought to my attention

    I did attempt to go back and fix the remaining issues as in some of the pictures these are from a laundry at which flooring was not a part of the proposal

     

    I offered that if Mr and ****************** could purchase the new flooring we would lay it down or if not we could purchase it and i would absorb the cost to lay it down.  Once flooring was laid down we could install the baseboards at which would have covered up any unfinished drywall edgework as seen in the picture.

    The other items were to be addressed at this time to allow a full 1-2 days of work for the crews to get the work done.  

    I am prepared to not only go back and back up my 2 year labor warranty but I will agree to give a refund back to cover the items to get fixed and some monies that was absorbed by the Cuellars.  

    I am offering a $1500 refund and do not see the reason to refund the whole job when we walked mulitple time the concrete was not unlevel, the flooring will need to be reinstalled in some areas but thats common in the industry because weather and climate all play a part in the install and with the products acclimation

    In March 2022 we hired EvanRod Construction to do remodel work inside our home. We paid 1/2 up front and the other half would be due upon completion. They started off pretty good and finished roof repair, pantry install and repair to interior. They still owed us a custom built coffee bar and door to our theater room. They asked if we would be willing to pay another $3000, which we did. Thats when things went downhill. The work on the coffee bar was unacceptable and redone 3 times with lots of delays in between. They would promise things and then never show up. In August 2022, we finally called a meeting to discuss our concerns. *************************** and two of his partners came to our house. We told them we wanted them to rip out the work they had done on coffee bar and restore the space. They said they didnt blame us and knew that they had not come close to delivering. We discussed a refund at that time. They asked if we would email them the numbers and asked for one more chance on the door as they had the door and were ready to install. Against our better judgement we agreed. One month later it was the same story, delays, lies and an unfinished door. We told them forget the door and refund us our money. They have stopped responding to our texts and emails.
