1. Date of transaction starts on 9/17/2024. And recurring every month.
2. I paid $6495 to t-pine capital every month for over 2 years. Then T-pine filed bankruptcy and assigned my contract to a third party, which is Ascentinum Capital.
3. The $6495 includes: new truck every year, maintenance and service. That shows in the original contract.
4. I paid $25980 as deposit not down payment. T-pine told me I will get the deposit back after completion of the contract.
5. I’m not leasing one truck for 5 years. The contract is they’re going to provide new truck every year for replacement.
6. Now ascentinum capital continues charging my company: ********* ********* Inc for $6495 every month. But not providing any new truck. And not providing the service included in the contract.
7. I asked them if I can buy this used truck. The mileage is 264123 now. They said I have to pay $293192.07 for it. That’s ridiculous. I can buy 2 same trucks in the market with that amount. I’m not leasing one truck for 5 years. Please ready the contract carefully.
8. Also I asked if I can return it since they’re not providing me new truck and service. They said I can return but they don’t refund the deposit. The reason is those money are down payment not deposit. That’s so funny a big company wants a small business’s deposit so bad.
9. We request to return the truck and have the deposit back. Really had enough.Business Response

Please see screen shots. The company don’t care about the fact they just want to take the money from my pocket. If they do it the small business will go bankrupt.I never missed one single payment in the last 2 years. Tpine filed bankruptcy but this Ascentinum comes and say Hey you own us $300000. And we’re kindly discount this to $160000.
I already paid this truck for $78000 plus $26000 down. Total is almost $100K. They even want me to pay it off with another $300000. Thank you Ascentinum, you’re robbing me like gentleman.

You can’t sell me one truck twice. I already had the contract, it shows the truck price and I paid down payment, and paid 12 months already. Now you are saying I will have to payoff the truck with the price higher than market price. I am only a driver hustling for living. But I’m not your slave. I think you should wake up. I am not stupid to follow your unfair opinions. Totally disgusting.

I accept new truck every year with service included or adjust the monthly payment to $4000/month. Please hold autopay until we have a deal. I will pay what I should pay. But $6495 with no new truck and service needs to be held.

New truck price is $160,000 now. You are so funny to ask me to payoff the used 300,000 miles truck with the same amount. You better understand I never financed a truck for $300,000 so how the $150,000 discount comes from? You are setting a trap to ruin my company if I agreed!

Has been over a year that our company was trying to buy a construction equipment. The first company we tried to buy equipment from reffered us Ascentium Capital (AC) we did not purchased that equipment, but found another one in NY, from a company called Legacy Lift (co- scamers). AC send me a contract on my phone and made me sign electronically. I never received the money, nor the equipment. It wasn't until 13 months and $22000+ later that we realized, AC was withdrawing money FROM OUR ACCOUNT.
Our accountant though we had gotten the equipment. Until I saw the bank statement myself, ind realized the transactions. We called AC several times. At first the were saying they were going to do an investigation, and if we hadn't received the equipment, they were going to reimburse us, we gave them two + months, until we realized they were not going to reimburse us. Reading their reviews we're convinced they are conspirators in the crime with the Legacy Lift. AC has more than 50% of revies with one star, and over 30 of them call AC a scamer company. Im informing you, the FBI, and the Attorney General of Texas about this scaminf company. Thank you for taking your time to read our complaint.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
All they told us on the phone was that they sent us a contract. Even though you didn't receive the equipment we funded you for, we have included fine print in the contract to protect us from any potential scam charges we may face.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) must take action against this company based on numerous complaints from across the US labeling them as a scam!
They owe us over $22,000. We will only agree with them once we see the money in our account. We have filed complaints with the Texas Attorney General and Massachusetts as well. And we're not stopping there. Costs would be our next stop.Where recorded conversations with their employees will win the case for us .
Our workers have to work extremely hard to manually handle materials up and down because these fraudulent individuals misappropriated the equipment budget funds.

We still have not resolved the issue with you due to Ascentium Capital NOT PROVIDING required documentation to release the lien from the Truck Title.
see attached NJ DMV Request.
Delivered TITLE ALONE is NOT SUFFICIENT to Transfer ownership, you need to remove Encumbrance from the title by providing NOTARIZED AND SIGNED LETTER OF RELEASE
see attached
please provide that ASAP to the address below, Otherwise we are still going to file a complaint with BBB.org, I'm sorry for inconvenience and I'm Sorry for this Buyer being from the State of NJ.

We were referred to Anthony ***** at Ascentium Capital by
our local Regions Bank Branch Manager, Jackeline ****. We were looking to finance a new telehandler for our small business,
***** ****** *********** ****. We were approved for the loan, but I wasn’t informed of the
terms.
After requesting the rate and terms twice we were told via
email on December 15, 2022, that there were 36, 48, 60 months options and that
the rate would be about 9%.
On February 6, 2023, Mr. ***** stated again via email the 9%
interest rate and the related monthly payments for the three terms. On the same
day, via email, I asked Mr. ***** if there would be any early payoff penalty.
His response via email was “No Penalty”. (See email attachment #1)
We then signed the attached contract documents showing a 60-month
term at $1,118.32 per month. When we signed the documents, we were under the
understanding that we had a typical loan at 9% interest for 60 months and no
penalty for early payoff. We were also unaware of the processing fees until
after we signed the documents.
On July 3, 2023, I sent a message to Ascentium Customer
Service requesting an amortization.
The email from customer service was the first information I
received explaining there was not an amortization schedule and that this was
not a “traditional bank loan”. I was
never informed previously that this was a full-term loan. (See email attachment
#2)
On July 4, 2023, I sent Mr. ***** and Ms. **** an email
asking why there wouldn’t be an amortization for our loan. On July 6, 2023, I
emailed them again and expressed my concern of being mis-lead regarding the
loan and the terms. Mr. ***** contacted me via telephone. During our
conversation he seemed unable to explain my loan terms and how an early payoff
would work. He tried to tell me I would get a discount for an early payoff. He
also stated that this was a new loan program, and they were still working on
clarifying the paperwork. (It was my
understanding that this was possibly a new relationship between Ascentium
Capital and Regions Bank.) At this time, he stated he would “request a payoff
document with my loan number so it’s official”. In response I received the
attached “Prepayment Addendum”. This document clearly shows a penalty for early
payoff. (See email attachment #3)
I then emailed him twice regarding clarification of the
document and have never received a response from Mr. *****. I have not heard
from him since July 6, 2023, when he sent me the prepayment document. I
followed up on July 11, 2023, and again on December 20, 2023. I have not
received a response from Mr. *****. (See email attachment #4)
In summary, we believe this to be a truth in lending
violation.
We were not told this was a full-term loan. It was not clear
on any of the contract documents. We were charged processing fees we were not
made aware of. We were told, in writing, that there would be no penalty, which
turned out to be false. We would have never agreed to a full-term loan or a
loan with early payoff penalty.
This contract should be voided due to the clear
misrepresentation by Ascentium Capital.
We were completely
mis-lead, misinformed, taken advantage of, and then ignored.Business Response

They are harassing our company claiming we owe them $162.05 for a credit card machine we shipped back months ago. Our account was closed for months with them and they were still taking money out of our bank account against our will. They are now threatening collections which is absurd. In reading other stories on the internet this company has a track record of deceptive business practices. We will not be paying them anything else and would greatly appreciate the BBB assistance in this matter.Business Response

In 2018 our MedSpa “leased” new equipment through Ascentium capital. While not illegal their business practices to shield the APR are nothing short of predatory. They have refused to provide statements reporting interest paid to facilitate tax filing. In our last payment, they “lost” the check, requested a replacement - which we provided. They assured us that both checks would not be cashed. Today I see they did in fact, check the replacement check and the original.Business Response

Our company was cheated into a 48 months lease by Ascentium Capital LLC, by a sales rep named Jessica ******. We told Jessica that we only does online credit card processing and there is no need for any equipment. But we were told the credit card processing equipment are free of charge. However, we never received such equipment, but since it was free and we did not care about it. When we later found out that we were charged every month, we tried to contact Jesscia and it's company but there is no contact information/no response. We had to block it with our bank later in order for the company to contact us. However, when we explained the situation, their response was threatening and not helping. They still are trying to charge our account and insist we received the equipment. We never got or used the equipment and they could not proof the last time we used it. Ascentium Capital LLC had been keep sending threatening calls and email since we blocked the transaction.Business Response

This company has charged us over $2600 for a credit card processing terminal that does not work. The terminal became non functioning and upon requesting a new processor Ascentium disclosed that the terminal was deemed "end of life" and could not be replaced. We were never notified of the terminal becoming "end of life". On top of that they claim that our contract with them allows them to charge us $164 per month over the next 16 months for a terminal that does not even power on. After repeatedly contacting them for a solution they would not accept responsibility and said the merchant company was responsible, the merchant company said ascentium was responsible and I was sent on an endless loop of long phone holds and rude customer service. Their labyrinth of confusion and lack of transparency consistently raised red flags to me and at this point I consider them to be a fraudulent scam of a company. I'd advise any person or small business to avoid ascentium at all costs because they will find a way to scam you out of your money.Business Response
