I went into Killeen auto brokers and told them I was looking for a small SUV, because a car is too small for my needs. My credit is not great but they said they could help. I sat there for a couple of hours while they tried to find a bank for approve the loan. Then I finally said, I was just going to leave and take care of stuff call me when you find out. They called about an hour later and said I was approved. I was so happy because I desperately needed a car and I was shocked and was ready to go PICK my car out. I get back there, still shell shocked and they started going over the paperwork and the way they presented everything it appeared they were showing how much I was approved for and I figured after this then we would go see my options. But when it got to that point they said are you ready to see your car? I said what? They said we have it pulled up front for you and they walk me out to a 2009 ***** civic. I told them again a car especially a civic was too small for my needs and they begin to use their manipulation tactics on me and said that was the only car on their lot for the $12,600 I was approved for. I started looking around at their lot pointing out small SUVs and they said the civic was the only car I could get. I went on a "test drive" around the block. Didn't get over 30 mph because the salesman was in a rush to close. I should have told them no right then. But stupidly, I didn't. Then on my way home found out there were multiple issues with the car radio doesn't work and few parts broken. They promised to fix those and it's been almost 5 months and I still don't have a radio and they don't know why the parts they ordered aren't in. Everytime I ask for them to stick to their word they just come up with more lies and excuses. Not to mention I put $2000 down and still paying over $12000. I feel taken advantage of because of my credit situation. I don't want this car,I found so many NEWER small SUVs for cheaper than my base model 09 civic .
