    ******* the manager went full ***** mode and charged me $1000 when I wanted a refund on a defective mower, after the salesman ****** lied to my mother to make the sell. I see from other reviews ****** has been caught lying to other customers as well.. Cringe ??So as of today I broke 11 million following views from all good reviews i leave, minus one or two. I hate leaving bad reviews but I got scammed and I want to warn anyone else before doing business here. Now I don't want anyone harassing them for what happened to me and I don't endorse that kind of behavior. I just want to prevent this happening to someone else. I had sent my mother in to purchase a zero turn mower that cost around $3000. The features we had to have were they would install a much kit and a hitch, as we are on over 2 acres and my mother can't carry heavy loads that far. The sales man ****** showed her a universal hitch in store and said it might work. So they charged us for it all, delivered the mower with the mulcher but no hitch ...and no phone call to let us know about it.So When we started it up, apparently the mower was already damaged underneath so the metal housing snapped the blade after engaging the blade. We called it in, they picked it up and a service guy said the mechanic didn't test the blade after installing the mulcher kit. But after 2 weeks of having the mower they called us and pinned it on us, saying we couldn't prove it was damaged on delivery so we would have to pay for it to be fixed. The whole thing smelled like a bait and switch.. It felt gross that they were taking advantage of my mother, never calling about the hitch until it was already paid for. So when i called to talk about the broken blade and ask about the *********************** said we were lying and that they never put in writing a hitch could be installed, DESPITE SHOWING A HITCH IN THE STORE and us saying that's one of the two reasons we bought it..I asked to speak to the manager, I wanted out and asked for a refund. ****** said they charged a 20% restocking fee regardless of whose fault it was and that "he'd be smiling at the end of the day either way". No customer service awards here folks. Needless to say, I escalated to the manager Melanday, who said we couldn't prove it was damaged, that ****** didn't put in writing he could install a hitch so anything he said doesn't matter and that the restocking fee is now 30%, so id have to pay 1000$ for a refund on 3000$ mower they sold to us under false pretenses. Yup. So My best case scenario is paying for the broken mower to be repaired and be stuck with a 3000$ mower that can't have a hitch installed. So i still need to buy something that can tow a utility cart or small trailer for my mother. Don't expect this company to have good communication skills, honest salesmen or leadership that puts their word and customer service as a priority. This was my experience at LSM with ******* and ******. And apparently after searching BBB, reviews and social media, it's not the first time this sort of thing has happened. Buyer beware.
