      Got a new roof from them last year and they totally messed up everything. Installed ridge vent on an opening that was to big and argued with me about it until the manufacturer finally came out and told them they had to replace it. Now they are saying my chimney is not structurally sound yet last year when they put the new roof on it was fine and if nothing else changed either a. They should not have done the work and informed myself and my insurance that the chimney needs work or b. They did it poorly and now its leaking. We have water in walls and ceiling yet remedy roofing states they will do nothing for us and the manufacturer also wont do anything. I am already seeking legal counsel and will be suing for defective work.

      No litigation or lawsuits have been filed, if remedy roofing does not remedy this situation with the help of BBB my next step will be legal action.

      Remedy Roofing and manufacturer provided full roof inspections.  Remedy Roofing addressed the potential issue with pre-existing ridge cuts as identified in report from the manufacturer. 
      Upon roof inspection, Remedy Roofing identified areas of concern that potentially could be leak sources around the chimney.  These were discussed with ************************* Remedy Roofing will offer to assist with getting the chimney exterior (siding/trim)
      repaired but Mr. *** has declined and stated he does not want anything to do with Remedy Roofing. Mrs. *** stated they already have exterior siding contractor scheduled to come out and make exterior repairs.
      If Mr. *** would like Remedy Roofing to assist with the chimney exterior, he can reach out to **************** and we will assist.

      they are trying to charge us to fix an error they had, they installed flashing wrong and the chimney leaks and they refuse to do anything. Other roofers have stated its the flashing and remedy cant say its the structure or they never should have installed it.

      Inspection was done around chimney and flashing is installed properly.  Issues identified with chimney were discussed with Mrs. *** along with the photos.

      they are stating there was a prior issue to the chimney before they installed the new roof, that means they should not have installed it, but everything they did says there was no issues when they installed. The leak in our living room is at most 4 feet from the orig al leak that had them out and got them the job in the first place. Its obvious they did a poor job and now they refuse to address it. They are offering to make me pay just shy of $4000 to fix the chimney which is unacceptable. Why would I have pay them to come to my house and do more bad work?

      also the siding installer was for an inspection, we have had multiple professionals inspect and state that all leaks are from the roof into the walls in our home. 

      remedy has already installed the ridge vent improperly and argued with us for months about it, finally being told they have to fix it by the manufacturer and I even mentioned it after the original install, this company does nothing to help or assist and just takes advantage of customers.

      We have offered to assist with resolving the issue and Mr. *** declined. I am not sure where that leaves us, we can't do anything to resolve the issue if he will not allow us at the house.

      If they would like assistance please call the office as stated in the prior response.

      Remedy has also requested that they schedule the inspection with their contractor that states it is a roofing issue at a time that Remedy can attend. We would like to be able to discuss any issue and address it if it is a re roof issue.

      If Mr. *** still declines our help or to schedule the meeting with the contractor then there is not anything further that Remedy can do. We resolved the issue that the manufacturer noted in their inspection report (the ridge being cut too wide, which was a preexisting issue, we did not cut it during the re roof).

      There were no other issues noted in that inspection of the roof nor could Remedy find any other issues with the roof when we were there to make the repair.

      Id ********************** is just going to repeat using different words the same thing over and over this is a waste of time.

      this Is the last time I am stating that all they are offering is to have me pay to fix the issue they caused and that is not acceptable. The ridge vent was 100% remedy roofings fault, you never should have installed over it if it was wrong, but you did and allowed water to enter our home for almost 14 months. Also yes I wont call because I want all communication in writing because they lie all the time. It does in fact seem as if remedy does not wish to correct the issues. Its not my responsibility to have remedy at my house when the manufacturer did the e installation, I had no warning when they would arrive. It seems as if remedy roofing does not wish to make things right and I am tired of arguing about how much of a bad job they have done and how poor their communication skills are. If the next response from them is anything except they will correct the issues and put everything in writing there is no point in discussing this anymore and I want BBB to put it down that they have screwed us over and do not wish to make it right and have their BBB rating accurately reflect it.

      Remedy Roofing and manufacturer have inspected and addressed any/all potential roof related issues.  Again, Remedy will be more than willing to offer assistance to ******** *** regarding the potential chimney leaks they are experiencing.


      In an effort for resolution and in good faith, Remedy has offered to assist with the chimney issues Mr./Mrs *** have stated in prior message.  In order to do so, we will need to get additional information and coordinate this repair with ******** ***.

      remedy roofing story changes every time. As I already stated numerous times there will be no discussion except in writing and unless its stating you are going to fix the issues why are we still discussing this? All you are doing is wasting more of my time and not being helpful at all. Last time your agent ****** Cifuentes  came to my home he stated its not his responsibility to know what was discussed with your sales people and myself and that remedy wont be fixing anything else which to me just shows that your company is a complete joke and wont honor anything  

      BBB please take this as they are refusing to correct the issues they made and that I am 100% unsatisfied with the responses they have been providing and have it accurately reflect their current rating.

      remedy roofing has done nothing to come to a mutual agreement to address our concerns. So again BBB please put this as company refuses to work with customer and have it negatively impact the rating that they have.

      On January 25th Remedy roofing installed a roof (incorrectly) after I signed a contract and paid the first 1/2 of the bill. (That was ********) We had a small leak in our bedroom ceiling that had caused a small wet spot and some paint peeling on the wall in the corner. That also did include include partial gutters (but that's beside the point.) Roof installed, gutters took a few more days after the roof was done so work was finished, they did not send me the final invoice right away and THANK GOD. On Sunday February 4th we had a rain event that lasted all day. By the end of that day we had major water leaking, (involving where the seam on my flat roof met my neighbors roof.) This caused a huge amount of damage involving 2 walls and a large portion of the ceiling. All kinds of excuses, they supposedly tried to make it right but shoddily, didn't want to pay for anything initially, tried to just have a painter paint over the back wall that I took matters into my own hands and had a mold remediation company remove the damaged areas. They chose the other contractors without giving me a choice, etc ....so at one point sent one of the company heads here from ***** to show me they had the picture of prior water damage so they didn't have to pay for the repairs!! Yes we had a small trickle of a leak, they turned into a huge leak where I literally had puddles on the floor. Then they're trying to tell me it was pre-existing damage. I told them I wasn't paying the additional ******** until things were fixed. So that required me to pay others out of my pocket., to the tune of ********~ TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES. They have proof that I paid all of that with invoices, receipts and canceled checks. Yesterday I got a message that the most corporate was going to discount is *****. That is ***** short of what I've paid out. So I'm refusing to pay them any more than the remaining difference which comes to $492 and I shouldn't even have to pay that, for the pain and suffering and PTSD!!

      Unfortunately this was a roof that shouldn't have been touched in the condition it was in. It is a shared roof (condo) and the other owner had their roof redone previously. This created a split in the middle of a TPO roof which you never want to have.

      Ms. ***** already had some leaks as a result of this. We did the job to the best of our ability but unfortunately it leaked right after we did it and got the wall in her house wet. We had a company go in and replace drywall that was wet, do mold mitigation, and repaint, but this just wasn't enough for Ms. ********* wanted the whole wall torn out and redone which was not necessary.

      Despite the fact that we have pictures of the wall before we roofed the house and can clearly see that she had leaks and drywall was broken and missing in one area she blamed us for all the issues. She only paid us the difference after she hired another company to come out and do mold mitigation and replace the drywall and repaint, again.

      We took a big loss on this job as a result.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  Their response was continued claim that I was/am a liar, that damage was not done or already present, they said they have pictures of missing drywall? That is a lie, we had a small spot in the ceiling and some paint that had peeled off in the back corner. Clearly the person stating this has bad eyesight. At any rate as I originally stated a small leak turned into a huge leak involving not ine but 2 interior walls and the back one had very high moisture readings inside after so called mold mediation on behalf of remedy. Not by a **** accredited company which is a law to remediate if there is more than 10 square feet. Thats when I said okay I'm paying for PROPER mold remediation and deductions will be taken from the bill. I do not appreciate being called a liar and expected to accept a moldy wall being "patched" and painted over. Furthermore the customer service agent I originally dealt with (***** ******) was condescending and I don't doubt she's the one that wrote that response. If not then shame on the person that did. That's why I don't accept the answer, and they took a big loss due to their own mistakes. That is all.

      As far as we are concerned the matter is resolved. Ms. ***** short paid us and we have since closed the job out. There is nothing left to give her, she deducted her expenses for repairing the wall from her payment to us even though we disagree with her resolution.
