    I hired ********************** for a relocation from *********, ** to ***********, **, with an original estimate of $4745.95. Here is the timeline of the transaction:1. 05/26/24: Paid $1936 and agreed to pay an additional $1404 on pickup and delivery dates.2. 09/18/24: After reviewing my inventory with **** from *********************** I paid an additional $1500.99.3. I was instructed by **** to provide ***** Expedite Mover and Storage with: - A $2024.50 money order upon pickup - A $2825.01 mail order upon delivery However, during the loading process on 09/21/24, the movers demanded an additional $4000 without prior notice or explanation. Under intimidation:- I was coerced into transferring $3000 via Venmo to a person named ******* ********, whom I had no prior association with.- I was further compelled to set up a Zelle account to transfer another $1000.This experience caused significant distress and sleepless nights. Upon delivery:- My furniture was damaged, with many items crushed or broken.- The movers caused structural damage to my home (e.g., scratched banisters, holes in walls).I was never given an option or justification for the additional $4000 fee. I believe this to be a scan and am requesting a refund for the unjust charges. Moreover, I hope this complaint serves to alert the BBB about ***** Expedite Mover and Storage's practices to prevent similar hardships for others.

    This moving company moved me from ********** to ******, ***** and I have missing items and damaged items and theyre not willing to do anything or contact me back. I dont know what to do or who to contact. For some reason, Im trying to upload the videos and pictures I have of this move when I was unpacking everything when I noticed the things that were broken and how everything looked for some reason your site doesnt let me upload the videos or the pictures. Can you please contact me ************ so I can figure out how I can send you the proof and documents I have of the damages

    On 8/20/24 movers picked up all of my belongings in ******* minus one suitcase of clothing, with the commitment to deliver it to ******* by 8/26/24. They then were unresponsive. I have finally heard back from them that my belongings are in a storage unit in ***** and they will contact me when there is an update. I've since found their yelp page this is the companys MO and it takes people months to get their stuff, and some people reported theft. I need assistance in getting my things back as soon as possible

    On 6/28/2014 M&R Expedite Mover and Storage collected all my personal belongings to transport from ***** to ***********. The expected delivery date was targeted at 7/17/2024. Which means all of my belongings (clothes, furnishing, tools, ect) were in there Storage facilities. My belongings arrived on 7/ 25/2024. Many of the boxes were bent out of shape. As boxes were being stack - many sank into the box underneath it. Some of the original boxes were not present; added were these huge 4ft tall thick boxes. The shipment arrived at 7:30pm they finished unloading at 10:30pm. The next day as I opened boxes, I found all my belongings molded and smelly (mildew). The company is not responding ***** calls and no one is responding to the complaint I filed. EVERY FAMILY PHOTO FROM 1984 TO 2023 WAS DESTROYED. 500 CD's were destroyed, At least 10 leather purses and 20 pairs of leather shoes mildewed beyond recognition, 25 suits - mostly never worn, 15 leather coats, lots of bed linen all destroyed. The contract clearly states that Storage is to be climate controlled. It seems that my belong got drenched in water somehow and no one wants to own up to what happen. There were broken items that I had to throw away: crock pot, leg on accent table, precious figurines - and I understand that things get broken. What I do not understand in addition to the mold and mildew is how dome of my belongings were not returned. Not one garden tool was returned (4 - 6 shovels, 2 steel *****, gardening hose, pruning shears and my "little giant ladder" - all gone. I transported 3 TV's and only one is operable - the other 2 have broken screens. One look as if someone threw it across a room and it landed facedown on floor. The other looks as if something bent it. This has been devastating and this moving company won't even give my loss a moment of their time to bring about accountability. I am attaching as many photos as the BBB program will allow... additional photos can be offered if needed

    I originally signed a contract with Rapid Express for a 1 1/2 bedroom move along with 50 boxes and 2 bikes from Mesa, Arizona to Yorkville, Illinois for a move on 06/13/20. My original contract was signed for the services of Gabriel ****** of R**** ****** company, **** ****** ****** *** ******** California 90023. Tel# ************* ***** *** ******* on March 1st, 2024 at 10:26 am. Hi I was quoted me $2,450.00 for 400 cubic feet on the truck. About 4;30 I receive another call stating that they will be theret hat he was with M & R .He said that Gabriel ****** was just a broker and they signed the contract over to M & R. I never gave permission to contract with anyone else. This guy started talking like a car salesman. I told him not let his workers start moving m items until he got the quote from his boss. Then he told me that the lowest he could go on the price was $3200 which I was willing to accept. However, I thought that would be $800 dollars more than my original quote of $2,450. I had already paid $800 deposit to Rapid Moving back On March 1st when I signed the contract with them. I made it clear to this guy that I was only willing to pay $800 more than my original quote of $2,450 or to just cancel the move. He assured me that would be the price I would pay. Then after everything was loaded and it came time for me to pay he showed me a bill for $4000.00. I am a senior citizen going on 75. I feel this company took aSomehow Rapid moving hired this company with out informing me, the customer. Then I get scammed by M & R.. They want me to pay an additional $1625.98 upon delivery of my items which
    I believe is totally unfair. I should only have to pay $800.00, This guy lied to me and waited to show me the bill until everything was already loaded.
