    I placed a service call to NEW LEAF today for our Kitchenaid refrigerator. The previous contract was to end on July 4. We renewed online with a credit card for another year on July 3. Today Saturday, July 26 I was told that the contract had expired. I explained that I have an email from their company that shows we extended and paid in full for a warranty extension. They said they could not open the claim as they do not show a valid contract. I emailed the supervisor at ******** a photo of the email showing new contract order number. They said they could not do anything until Monday. I asked for the supervisor to escalate the call or bring on someone from the admin team that could fix the issue with my NEW LEAF account. I was told that since it is the weekend no one can help. This is a huge problem - they can take my money provide me an email to tell me that I am covered but cannot create a claim or provide any service. This is completely unacceptable. All the while my refrigerator is not working and I am losing everything in it.

Since your renewal contract was recently purchased, it may take some time for the system to process and display the contract details. Please be assured that ******** has procedures in place to help minimize any delays. 

    In this case, since your call was made on a Saturday, the necessary departments were not available until the following business day to process the order. The service request has now been submitted and is currently being processed for dispatch. Once the service order is ready for dispatch, a member of our team will contact you to provide the service technician's information or assist in scheduling the appointment.

    I would rate it as zero if I could! I have been stuck with a non working refrigerator for over a month. The service provider will not do his part with the paperwork side of things, New Leaf will not assign another technician. Also new leaf states that there is no time frame to fix stuff in their contract!

    I purchased a new oven on 6/22/2022 with a 5 year warranty. On or about 4/09/2025 the motherboard melted and stopped working and we contacted New Leaf Service Contracts for a repair. Since that date, they sent a tech twice to repair the motherboard but other issues persist. The oven screen does not state what temperature the oven is on. on 6/06/2025, a service tech came by to tell us he doesn't know why he's there and as far as he is concerned the unit is unrepairable and that we should seek replacement. I spoke with ****** (he refused to provide his last name or at least the first initial of his last name) who tried to get in touch with ** but they stated they did not have such notes from the service tech. He said I should expect a call within ***** hours with an update. It has become clear to me that this company is not interested in serving its customers, but is interested in keeping them at bay, postponing updates and has shown a tremendous lack in customer care. I have been patient but its not been over two months since my initial conversation. I strongly recommend not using this company.

    Good afternoon, 

    We apologize for the frustration surrounding the failure of the ** Range.  New Leaf was able to contact **.  There was no indication from the technician that the range was non repairable.  The technician reported that the range was operational and not experiencing any failures.  The concern of the temperature not continuously showing on the display and reverting to the clock time is within operation guidelines of the control board that was replaced.  Again, we apologize that the temperature not continuously showing has been updated with the repairs and software updates that were completed.

    The temperature not showing continuously has not been updated with the repairs and software updates. Two techs arrived at my house to tell me there is nothing they can do about the oven anymore and we should seek replacement. What is the point of the 5 year warranty if ******** will not uphold it?

    Terrible company! They do not honor their warranty and will lie about it until you confront them with your own copy of the contract. Even then they will say thats not really what it means. This is a company you should not do business with.
