Be aware that ********************* contracting as Heritage ATX Design and Development is not to be trusted with any large work. He is not a decent or reliable contractor. We got his name from another business and did some due diligence given his company was not listed in BBB. We found two bad reviews due to incomplete work which he explained gloriously. He comes across as very credible and experienced in all the conversations, but the performance fell short of that. He asked for payment advances and didnt have enough cash flow to cover while checks were clear which caused us to fund the concrete work twice to keep us on schedule. We believed he was an honorable person and paid in advance for the work. The contract with *** was for $43,000 to re-do the concrete patio around the pool, including turn down the resurfacing and placing the fence back to the original place. The work related to pouring the concrete and building the turn down was completed within 2 months. He uses a lot of labor workers that are not properly trained resulting in a huge mess around the house, including broken sprinklers.The resurfacing work was where we encountered the most issues. He didnt have the experience, the equipment, or the skilled workers to complete this work. He used low-quality material from *********** and the inexperienced workers tried to do the work. The resurfacing work was uneven, including the workers shoe footprint, and the color was completely off. He started disappearing for days, working on the project for one day of the week, and after 3 months of promises, bad work, and heavy frustration we asked him not to come back. This piece of the work was priced at $12,000 and we didnt recover any dollars from him. After 5 months of dealing with this, we contracted another company to work on the resurfacing. They have to remove, fix, and prepare the surface before adding the right texture and colors. It was like night and day difference.
