      On 4/9/2024 I went to Liberty tax listed in complaint. I told *************************** I wouldn't be able to pay her until I received my social Security on after 4/17/24. She scheduled me for 4/22/24 did offer me an extension. On 4/22/24 I presented with my documents and previous years taxes. You see I am in transition into retirement and working in ******** as a contractor still thereforeI have to include Virginia filing which I explained.I gave her a positive review on line.But when I got home and looked at my returns I realized She did my taxes wrong. She didn't include Va. return. She put in figures which I did not give her like 5200 legal fees which I never had any legal fees and many other wrong figures. I tried calling she didn't take my call. She never filed the taxes. I went back to ** to my original Liberty Tax person ******** @**********.Thats how I knew about the wrong figures.Same system in ** with Liberty tax. I have requested 4xs my refund of 429$ which ****** charged me. I had to pay 468$ to have my taxes done correctly. Please help me get my refund from Liberty Tax Located ************************************** ,716 343 7002thank you *********

      I was a new customer with Liberty Tax this year.When I first created an account, I was matched with a tax preparer named ******************************* of ****************** She took my information through the app, as well as through email as some of the documents did not upload to the app correctly, and we spoke on the phone. She was presumably working on our taxes at the beginning of March 2024, but a few days before our business taxes were due on March 15, 2024, she completely stopped responding. I have never heard from her again. As a result, our business taxes are delinquent, as she did not file a return by the deadline and did not file an extension. Our personal taxes would also have become delinquent if I hadn't reached out to a different provider through Liberty Tax.My concerns now are: (1) I owe a penalty for the late filing of business taxes, which is absolutely out of my control, and this is the responsibility and fault of one of Liberty Tax's contracted preparers; (2) This random person has all of my confidential tax information and did not use it to file my taxes; how do I know that my security is not compromised?

      The extent of incompetence, miscommunication, and outright deception, we've encountered is unlike anything I've ever seen in professional services. **** (filing under the name *****) should be avoided at all costs, and Liberty Tax corporate office refused to not stand by their guarantees.Here is a timeline that captures the essence of our fiasco:* June 28, 2023: We received unexpected bills from the *** for my wife's incorrectly filed tax return. Immediately, we reached out for an explanation.* June 30, 2023: After initial contact, the response we receive is a vague assurance of action, yet no progress is made.* I dug through the tax return and pointed out the specific error in the return: a contribution to an HSA was wrongly reported, leading to unnecessary penalties from the ***. I proved the error was on and requested an amended return, which **** failed to provide evidence of submitting.* July, throughout the month: Despite repeated requests for correction and documentation, we face evasion and unfulfilled promises.* August 15, 2023: We're told that our issue has finally been taken up with the ***.* August 25, 2023: ***** *lies* to us and says that she has resolved the issue with the *** and we will be receiving a check in the mail.* August 28, 2023: Rosy *lies* to us *again* via email saying There was no amendment needed; it was a system air. The *** detected the air and they fixed it. Nothing else is needed. * September 4, 2023: We downloaded our transcripts from the *** portal and verify that she has not actually filed any paperwork to amend her mistake!* September 2023 to February 2024 We periodically follow up with the local office, and the Liberty Tax corporate office, regarding this complaint and we are being ghosted. Corporate oversight was sought, but Liberty Tax's higher management turned a blind eye to our struggle, despite their own guarantees and the clear fault at hand.I have email records to prove every claim I made in this.

      Was threatened by the owner **** *************************** on Wednesday February 21 at approximately 1:30 pm .I (**************************** ) had filed my taxes with him I went in the office to speak with him at 12:30 regarding the high amount he charged me and he began being verbal abuse to me calling me a d*** .so I left there came home and at approximately 1:30 pm he called me on the phone and said ****************************** replied yes. He then said this is ****** from liberty tax I was calling to tell you I filed a no trespass with police department and I said ok then he called me a stupid b**** and said if I ever mentioned his name he would finish me....when he called he was on speaker and I have 4 people who heard this... I called metro they told me they would turn it over to deceives and to contact corporate and BBB and repot this...I have been researching him on my own and have found he is a fugitive on the run from ******* ...I am now very afraid for my safty and well being.. plan on also contacting an attorney with this also...My name again is *************************** ************ ************************************************************************ ...is my contact information please give me a call...

      Every single time I file with this tax preparation company specifically the one in ****** ******* on ******* where ******************* is the *** Ive had numerous clerical errors Im getting a bill saying I owe $600 for whatever reason when I dont owe anything I end up paying absorbent amount of fees when filing my taxes, which is nothing more than clicking a couple buttons on a computer screen, Ive been audited a couple times based on their clerical errors and Im quite upset with the fact that JHT Financial hold onto your money when you get an advance or these taken out of your refund when nobody else does if youre so fast, give me a loan then you can be so fast to pay me the money that you owe me. Im quite irritated with everything thats been going on with this Office over the years and I feel like they need to be investigated. I will not be using your service in the future. Im super frustrated based on my experience and Im gonna be reporting that business. To the ******* board of accountancy, and I expect a full refund for my tax preparation fees. This is absolutely ridiculous.

      I usually do my own taxes but I explained to the person doing my taxes I needed some money quickly and that was why I went to them. The woman told me very Batur if you don't get approved for the highest amount you'll get the next option and gave me a card and said the money would be on my card in 48 hours. Then after they file my taxes I get a notice saying my advance was denied but I'm still stuck having to pay them to do my taxes.

      Last year I received a tax audit from the irs for 2020 liberty tax ********* ** filed them initially they gave me back my w2 and didn't file it. Causing me to owe taxes they filed and amendment and said it takes a long time to process those. I received another notice called liberty again and again was told don't worry about it amendments take a long time I got another same deal. I got another this month so I went in they told me they had sent it but they can't see statuses of those eventhough with each call they assured me it showed pending online the times before when I brought that up she said ohh well I can look at it and see. She came back and said she can't see the status because it's a new tax year they told me to call the irs so I did they told me they never filed and amendment and it has to be mailed not online and that nothing they are telling me is accurate so I called liberty tax again they said we refunded ur filing fees already so we won't help you anymore they refused to correct their error and now I'm being forced to fix their mistake

      We turned in all our Business and personal tax paperwork to ********************* of ****************** of ****************, **. in March 2022. Liberty Tax filed an extension for ** before the deadline of April 18, 2022. Just like the last two previous years, they took our paperwork and said they would get it done. In Sept 2022 we reached out to Liberty Tax to check on the status of our taxes and reached and answering service that said mail box is full. We went by the office twice a day, everyday for a week and no one was in the office anytime. In the first week of Oct 2022 we called Corporate Liberty Tax to file a complaint multiple times. All they can do is try and reach out to *********************. As of Oct 8th when we went by the ****************** in ****************, ** it was empty. Still no answering of phone calls or any results from Corporate Liberty Tax. ********************* of Liberty Tax in **************** ******** has all our tax paperwork today and has not filed our taxes.
