I purchased a vehicle from the location. At the time of purchase i was informed by the staff that my license plate and registration would be mailed to me at no charge when they arrived at the dealership. I was notified that my plate had arrived and that i would now have to pay them an additional $50 in order for them to mail it to me. I have contacted them multiple times and they are refusing to honor the original agreement and insist I pay them $50 to have my license plate and registration mailed to me.

As we are deeply sadden by Mr. ***** statement, however he purchased the ***** vehicle back on 09.23.2024. As he was happy with his purchases and services, the sales representative over delivered/spoke. As we did apologize time and time again and stated ***** charges us to overnight tags, and we also gave Mr ***** a cheaper option which was **** with no tracking # and it an take longer. Mr ***** expected the sales representative to keep his word and honor the deal of mailing out plates when he could not even keep his own word and contract of his $1500.00 deferred down payment. He finally paid 2 months after the contract agreement and still demanded us to mail his plates for free.

The are doing this too many people saying they are approved take they money and then dont give them the car or they money. If I know longer want to do business or cant provide whatever additional paperwork you ask for after a contract is signed then my money should be refunded if your not going to honor the contract. They then continue to run my credit log into my bank account via through 3rd party and had a fraud alert pop up from my bank locking all my accounts said that it had been accessed so ***** times by this dealership. I dont want to do business with them and want my money back

      To Whom It May Concern,
This response is in regard to a recent complaint filed against garden auto sales
After reviewing the customer's file, we must clarify the following:
      1. The customer submitted a credit application containing false and misleading information, including a falsified credit profile and inaccurate proof of residence. These documents were verified and found to be inconsistent with what was represented to our finance partners.
      2. Based on the information initially provided, our dealership extended a conditional approval with a $3,500 down payment requirement. However, due to the discrepancies and misrepresentations on the customers application, the approval became null and void per our finance partners guidelines.
      3. At no point was a finalized funding agreement reached between the lender and the customer due to these fraudulent elements. Therefore, the vehicle could not be delivered, and we were unable to proceed with the transaction.
      4. Our dealership has made every effort to work with the customer to resolve the matter in good faith. However, due to the customers misrepresentation and failure to comply with the financing conditions, we are unable to process a refund of the down payment, which was made to secure the deal under false pretenses.
We stand by our policies and reserve the right to protect our business and lender relationships from fraudulent activity. Documentation supporting this claim can be provided upon request to the proper authorities.
      Sincerely,
      ******** ********

I was sold a lemon, what is owed on the car is beyond the cars worth on top of the 10,000 I've paid for a car which is not drivable. I have a representative trying to contact a legal department for an address to send a claim letter and they are repeatedly hanging up and refusing to give information.

Ms ******* purchased a vehicle AS IS in which she has gotten work done to it beyond 90 days of the purchase date. One day Ms. ******* decided she no longer wanted the vehicle and wanted to trade it in and demanded $5,000.00 for the car and no down payment on a new vehicle. At this point the car has been purchased for over a year and a half. The office manager spoke to Ms. ******* in transferring her call to the finance manager in which she made her demands and refused his offer of taking a look at the car before making a offer. Ms ******* demanded the 5k and not down payment or nothing. Following up, someone called in asking for the legal department and refused to give a name or customer nor car as to why they wanted the legal department. It was obvious it was for Ms ******* since we received that call not even 5 minutes after her demand were refused.  The office manager kept asking and pleading with such "legal representative" in asking her name, customers name, law firm they are which, etc and the "legal representative" refused to provide any information and just kept demanding a legal department contact information. The office manager told the "legal representative" that without information on which or whom the mutual client is or who even the law firm is, it can be a scam or she can be just a simple receptionist in which that "legal representative" because very belligerent and started cursing and bring up mothers which resulted in the office manager hanged up.

      Dec 27, 2022
I purchased a 2018 dodge challenger for total of $25,622.60 in Houston Tx.
Before I drove 5 hours to get the vehicle, I was advised by believe his name was Mr. *********, the car was in great condition. I arrived about 1030pm to sign the paperwork. The car was parked outside the bay, so it was very dark. When I started the car it was very loud but also heard a strange noise. I asked what the noise was. Mr ********* told me it was the heat plate against the exhaust and the noise would stop once the car warmed up.
So I drove 5 hours home, I noticed the hood and trunk didn't line up. I knew then the car had been wrecked before. Took the car to a mechanic, He verified the car had been wrecked. I'm also lucky to be alive due to about 1 weeks worth of front brakes left and less then a months of back brakes. There is also NO exhaust on the car. I called the man who sold it and told him. He stated "you already signed the paperwork, the car is yours" I explained to the seller I'm a single mom, please help me make it safe for my son. He said he would help but now won't answer or reply to my texts. I spent another $600 on brakes and exhaust, but it also needs rotors, brake caliber's and several other things. The car is parked because its very unsafe and undriveable. I'm paying $550 a month for a car I can't drive. All I wanted was help repairing everything the seller advised was in great condition. I'm barley making it on my own as a single mom. I Need Help Please!!! I Just want a safe and decent car to get me to work and kid to school. I would like them to pay for all repairs or take the car back.
Please I don't know what else to do. Thank You for Your time

      Dear mrs.*****
We understand your concerns regarding the condition of your 2018 Dodge Challenger. However, we would like to clarify a few key points regarding your purchase and the assistance we have provided.
      1. The vehicle was sold "as-is," meaning the buyer assumes responsibility for any necessary repairs after the purchase, as per Texas state laws.
      2. Despite the "as-is" agreement, as a gesture of goodwill, we serviced your brakes on January 3, 2023, at no cost to you.
      3. At the time of purchase, we also offered you an extended warranty, which could have provided additional coverage for repairs, but you declined this option.
Given these factors, we believe we have fulfilled our obligations and provided reasonable assistance beyond the original purchase agreement. We consider this matter resolved.
If you have any further concerns, feel free to reach out to us.
      Best regards,
      Garden auto sales

ON 09/19/22 I SAW AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR A 2018 DODGE CHARGER (VIN-*****************) ON THE DEALERS WEBSITE AT A PRICE OF $25,100. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP 09/20/22 AND SPOKE WITH "GIL" TO CHECK AVAILABILITY AND SET UP A TEST DRIVE. I ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP AND MET WITH "GIL" TEST DRIVE THE CAR AND ARRANGED FOR MY HUSBAND TO TAKE THE VEHICLE 09/21/22 TO HAVE INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP BEFORE PURCHASING. LATER IN THE AFTERNOON 09/21/22 WE MET AT THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN WITH GIL AND AGREED TO THE ADVERTISED PRICE AS A SALE PRICE AND TO PROCEED WITH ACQUIRING FINANCING FOR ME. HE PROCEEDED TO SUBMIT MY INFO TO TWO LENDERS. ONCE THE DEAL WAS APPROVED A SECOND DEALER REP NAMED "MO" STATED TO ME THEY WERE NO LONGER ABLE TO SELL THE VEHICLE TO THE AGREED AND ADVERTISED PRICE. THE PRICE WOULD NOW BE INCREASED BY SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS. I EXPRESS TO BOTH GIL AND MO HOW THESE ARE NOT THE TERMS AGREE UPON AND HOW UNETHICAL THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS WAS. (I DO HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF THE ADVERTISED PRICE IN QUESTION)NO WERE INDIFFERENT AND STATED THIS WAS A COMMON BUSINESS PRACTICE. I PROCEED TO LEAVE AND NOT COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION, HOWEVER I NOW HAVE CREDIT INQUIRIES POTENTIALLY NEGATIVELY AFFECTING MY CHANCES TO ACQUIRE ANOTHER VEHICLE.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your experience with our dealership. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.
We understand that you were interested in purchasing the 2018 Dodge Charger at the originally advertised price. While we strive for transparency, our listings include a standard disclaimer regarding a $995 dealer fee, which covers vehicle cleaning, reconditioning, and other dealership costs. This fee is applied to all sales and was part of the final pricing adjustment discussed during your visit.
Regarding your credit inquiries, please note that submitting financing applications to multiple lenders is a standard practice to secure the best available rates for our customers. While inquiries may temporarily appear on your credit report, multiple applications within a short period are often treated as a single inquiry when applying for auto loans.
We regret that we could not finalize the transaction, but we appreciate your interest in our dealership. If there is anything further we can do to assist you, please feel free to reach out.
      Best regards,
      All Star Motors, Inc.

This is reference to TX DMV Claim# **********

I attempted to purchase this vehicle on Saturday, July 16, 2022. At approximately 2:55 pm upon the office closing, I was asked by Gil, who stated he was an authorized dealer for the company, to make downpayment via Zelle for the amount of $5,000 and to complete a wire transfer for the remaining amount of $11,200 for a total purchase amount of $16,200.

I was able to do a test drive of the vehicle around the block in a circular radius immediately returning the vehicle back to the dealership. The dealer stated that since the wire transfer has not been completed, the vehicle is not mine. Additionally, he stated he would complete work on the vehicle.

In finding some non-disclosed damages to the vehicle, with the dealership being closed the following day Sunday, July 17, 2022; on Monday, July 18, 2022, I expressed the fact that since I had not taken possession of the vehicle and as he stated, the sale had not finalized, I would like to rescind my purchase of the vehicle since he has not missed any opportunity to sell.

The dealer then told me that I was stuck with the vehicle because I drove it off of the lot (referring to the test drive). He also mentioned that there is "no cooling off period in Texas" with a purchase of a vehicle. I stated that I never received the keys to the vehicle nor took possession of the vehicle. The dealer kept referring to the test drive around the block as the vehicle now belongs to me.

In reviewing the conditional delivery of the vehicle which is located in their paperwork, it mentions that if either party cancels the contract of the vehicle, a full refund will be provided. I have canceled my intentions to buy and contract verbally and also my Certified Postal Mail to the dealership.

DMV statea no current inspection, no dealer tags and no transfer of title.
I have never received keys or possession to the vehicle nor have I received a refund. It has been almost a month. Dealer refuses
