    On November 26, 2024, I purchased a 2016 Chevy Limited from this dealership. Unfortunately, the vehicle has exhibited major mechanical issues that indicate it was unfit for sale at the time of purchase and it is not safe to be on the road, specially the check engine light was on the dashboard, but they told me it will go by itself.
    Two days after taking possession of the vehicle, the check engine light appeared on the dashboard. I returned the car to the dealership immediately, and they kept the vehicle for two weeks to address the issue. However, despite their efforts, the same problem has reoccurred. As of December in the beginning of the month and they showed me that they changed some sensors, but after I got the car for one day and the check engine light is once again illuminated, signaling unresolved and persistent issues with the vehicle, I went back to them to find solution for this problem because I am losing money and time, they told me that we will send you to AutoNation Chevy Dealership because they understand what is the exact problem, I went to the AutoNation Chevy Dealership since January 31 2025 till now still the car there and they couldn't able to fix it that is mean they were trying to sell me defected car. Obviously I lost my money with this dealership. I tried many times to speak with the financial department in AutoNation Used cars in Katy to ask them to find solution but the sales man told me we are waiting for management. I wasted a lot of time and money with them.
    I believe AutoNation acted negligently by listing and selling this car without properly ensuring its mechanical soundness. Selling a vehicle with significant issues not only violates consumer trust but also raises concerns about compliance with Texas laws governing used car sales. I am now burdened with a defective vehicle, and the dealership has failed to provide an acceptable resolution. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience, stress, and financial strain.

    My family has purchased multiple vehicles with autonation group and unfortunately, I had the experience of going to this dealership and having multiple problems, 1st no contact for the license plates if I dont call, I dont hear from them, but thats only the tip of the iceberg, they installed 4 brand new tires and performed some cosmetic work as part of the deal, fair until this point, the big issue is as follows, they installed and "balanced" the new tires but after an independent tire rotation at a 3rd party shop I was advised that the 2 passenger tires where damaged, probably linked to the cosmetic damage they worked on, but here my question, "how can the technician that installed the tires didnot mention it or pointed it out?" if he did probably they did not wanted to take responsability. Nor I was notified of the damage to the wheels before purchase, and for a company this big it is a shame that this particual dealership did not wanted to do something about it. It seemed that they just wanted to make a quick profit. Also, I called the dealership before writing this review and they said they will get back with me on the issue on the same day but guess what, nobody has called back to clarify this issue and it seems that they want to put this issue on the "forget about it pile" as a result I am stuck with a $800 quote per wheel, and I need 2, for the parts dealer. As a mentioned, great experience with other autonation stores but may reconsider buying from this particular store in the future because they dont inspect vehicles, they put it up for sale as they get them and if it sells it sells, they just want that paycheck. If you get a trial period, take the time and inspect the vehicle through a 3rd party company to return it if something does not check as it supposed to.

    As a 20 year military veteran I hold service to a high standard and this "organization" has no standard. Dealing with this "organization" has been the worst car buying experience in my car buying history. It has been 5+ months since I purchased a vehicle for my son and still no permanent plates. After 5 in person visits to this location and numerous phone calls still no plates or no help in rectifying this issue. I contacted the DMV 90 days after purchase to check on the status of the plates and was informed that the dealership never submitted the required/requested documentation to start the registration paperwork. The consistent long holds on the phone and repetitive unanswered questions has created so much stress. This ordeal has made my sons car buying and driving experience a disaster. I would have never thought I would have experienced such disregard for a consumers safety and wellbeing. In short they are misleading and disloyal. From the sales person (IC), to the title registration rep (jojo), to the manager (Raheem)

    I purchased a vehicle with problems of over heating which we were told nothing about until we left the dealership, we were told after paperwork was signed and we were on our way home that a light would pop up and go away and it was nothing to be concerned about it was just a sensor gone bad and they had already ordered it and would replace as soon as it came in. Nope the vehicle was actually over heating we were in a rental for 2 months trying to get out of this deal and into another vehicle. Finally in July I purchased a Jaguar and now I’m dealing with then adding services and money to the contract that I had no knowledge of and it’s not a few hundred it’s thousands of dollars added . Now trying to get the stuff canceled and figure out what was added and why.

    I have to say this has been the worst experience ever!!!! We recently purchased a vehicle at this location and was helped by **** who was a great sales person, friendly and great communication. But he sold us a vehicle that was not “ready” and he stated it had to have some maintenance done before we took it home. A bit confused of why they are selling a car if it’s not ready to take home. But my husband fell in love with the vehicle, So ** stated the vehicle will be ready in a couple days in great condition. So we left and picked up the vehicle two days later and they stated the vehicle was ready to go. Here we are one month later and have been having issues back to back with this vehicle!! We stay an hour away from this location and have gone back and forth to drop off the vehicle for “maintenance” and yet still having issues! They promised us a rental if needed when we had an issue with the vehicle. There is no rental available for us, till the end of September!! This is beyond ridiculous! so my husband is having to deal with the vehicle over heating, AC not working properly, motor mounts are worn out completely, and anti freeze leaking like crazy!!! Very upsetting when you just put a huge down payment on a vehicle coming from a dealership and dealing with this! My thing is, why would they put a vehicle on the market to sell to a customer if the vehicle is not ready!!! And than they state they have done a full diagnosis to it and checked it out!! Lies!!! I absolutely do not recommend buying a vehicle here! Worst experience ever!!! Up to today my vehicle is still at the dealership due to repairs that “are not covered” haven’t even enjoyed my vehicle at all. It’s been four months now.

    I was sold a truck that was never fully inspected. Now I have to pay $8800 for repairs.


    Soon after the 5 days return policy expired, my truck needed repairs. But the auto warranty they sold me refused to cover them. The issues needing attention should have been noticed by AutoNation when they certified the truck. $8800 worth of suspension repairs!

    They posted a car on Autotrader. Called, they said they had it. When I arrived it had 'sold' and they tried to put me in something else. Turns out the car had a bad Hybrid battery pack and they lied to me. Car is still on Autotrader.
