I just spoke with James regarding my IRS resolution. I am extremely frustrated with the outcome of this as James informed me I still will owe the IRS the full amount. I was told in the beginning process that my amount owed to the IRS would be lowered from $9,047 to approximately $905. I was also told that my savings account is considered future income and could not be part of my debt to income ratio. I paid $1,900 upfront for a service that did nothing. I have no documentation in the portal indicating that anything was done on the part of Finish Line regarding this matter. This sounds like nothing more than a scam.

My husband and I contracted with this company to help us with tax relief from a settlement. They charged $200 to $500 every time something came up, like needing other documentation. They. Never even contacted the IRS on our behalf. Then they closed our file after telling us to wait for a letter or contact from the IRS. Complete lies, no help, nothing other than more charges.

I contracted Finishline tax solution on July 17, 2023 to help with my tax owed to the IRS but nothing was done on my behalf. I paid them $1900.00 but did not get any positive information from them at all. I had to contact them many times for the 8 months they held my money but kept getting the round-around. I have requested a refund but again no positive response from them. I emailed a letter to the President of the company and no reply. This is not a serious company, after reading all the complaints, there is definitely a pattern with them. Do not hire this company to help, they will just steal your money.

Finishline tax solutions stole $7000 from me, back in March 2021. I was working with Michael ****** ***** for an IRS tax issue from 2019. They promised me I would be able to reduce my owed taxes to a fraction of what was owed. Over the course of 18 months, the IRS reached out to me personally on several occassions when they were unable to reach Finishline concerning my offer and compromise. After several weeks I received a letter from the IRS stating my offer was denied. I contacted Michael, just to be told we would need to start the process all over again since my employment situation had changed. The next contact was again from the IRS collections dept placing a lien on my home. I was then assured once again Finishline was working on my behave. The next time I was contacted by anyone was March of 2024 when the IRS informed me I still owed the original amount plus penalities and interest. I then heard the Finish Line Tax solution commercial on the radio and I immediately called. I was told yes, you are our client and I was going to be contacted by Michael Smith...instead I received an email two weeks later informing me my business with Finishline Tax solutions was now terminated due to breach of contract on my end. I find I have no other choice but to contact my local state representative and the attorney general of the state of Texas to attempt to get any of my money returned to me.

Do not use this company. It is a fraud. I paid this company almost $2000 to help me with my back taxes. They took my money. They said they were doing work. I never received any documentation. I never received anything now that I'm trying to contact them. I can no longer contact the person in charge of my case. So i've contacted my bank and i've disputed the charges

Decide not to use this company services and requested a refund never signed any papers and so far I have yet to receive a refund it has been a month and yet to receive a refund even filed a dispute with my credit card company to get refund and finish line solutions has not responded to my credit card company about my refund whatever you do don't use this company I feel like I have been scammed.

I am writing to file a complaint against Finishline Tax Solutions for their unacceptable handling of my tax case. After paying thousands for resolution, they closed my case on April 2, 2024, without explanation. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't reach my tax specialist, Kaleen, to inquire. Now, I'm left to deal with the IRS alone. This company must be held accountable for taking people's money without providing resolution. No response has been received, and numerous complaints about similar issues have surfaced. I urge the BBB to investigate and assist in resolving this matter promptly.

This company will take you money and do NOTHING for you. I've been waiting 2 years to resolve my 2021 taxes and I paid $1700 for them to help me. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE! All they are is full of are promises and no action!!! I called ****** ***** as advertised on TV. These people are what was sent. I have been very disappointed and I am still in debt! I asked for my money back and they refused. Said it was too late to ask for a refund. They kept stringing me along so that I couldn't ask for my money back! I AM TOTALLY OUTDONE WITH THESE PEOPLE!! They don't even deserve a one star rating!

This company is a rip off. I owe more money than when I started two years ago. I paid over $2000 to this company two years ago and still have no resolution from them. Each year they have had 11 months to work something out on my behalf, but hold out to end of the year and tell me that I have to file my new tax documents before they can assist me. With all the penalties and interest I will never trust another tax relief company again. Now I owe more money and out all the money I paid this company. If any one reads this and you would like the CEO to this company his name is Scott ******* They will not allow you to speak to him directly but is you send a letter in, it needs to go to him. I hate companies that hid behind their name.......I do not advise you use this company for any of your tax needs.

never use them to take care of your tax problems they're just a rip off I paid the money to take care of my tax problems they got my money and never got a resolution from IRS I ended up paying more than i owed at first people work hard for their money and not expect to get ripped off by a business that supposed to help you they should be put out of business i don't know how or fined by the BBB never again will i trust them and they are a black owned business they deserve a zero star .
