      I have 2 inverters and 1 is defective. I initially contacted Spruce Power 4 months ago and through several emails, I had to provide pictures of my solar system. They never call you back. When I hear no response, I have to call them and then they say that they did not receive certain pictures.
      The current state of my repair ticket as I was told is that they are still looking for a dispatch company. They absolutely will not call you to update.
      I just called this morning and was told that there is NO update. This company is horrible at servicing customers.

      I wonder why we (the customer) are held to the contract to the last letter, but Spruce Power doesn't. This company has cost me thousands of dollars because of in proper installation, not to building code. It has cost me $2000,00+ in repairs and another $7500.00 to have the solar panels removed by a company they say I must use. Part of the blame is on my city building inspector who signed off on it. There was no flashing or boot installed at the roof penetration areas (2), Plus billing problem and electric solar output. They told me I would get between 500 and 900 KWH output from solar and yes it takes them forever to get someone out here. Had a couple of months with zero generation. Is bad as this company is, no one from the city, state or country does anything. Guess they have made then self pretty bullet proof. So, if you are thinking of solar, stall away from Spruce Power, they are by far the worse company out there.

      One star is more than enough for these scammers. They deserve a way lower rating. The customer service is a disaster, and they refuse to follow the agreement and provide info if you ask them about it - incompetent people. My advice - never go with them. Also, if you need to remove panels temporarily, these scammers don't allow a third party to remove panels and charge a huge amount, way above the market price. No wonder these scammers have low ratings

      I have been trying to get my system fixed for the last 7 months, Each time I call they give me the same excuse, that they have put through a ticket and have dispatched the job, but no one in my area that they deal with has picked up the job yet, It does not take all this time to get someone out. yet when I said I would not pay the bill, I was told if I did not they would not fix my system. They old my I would be going against my contract. Yet they are not living up to their part of the contract by not fixing my system. They bought this from *** and then screwed me out of the tax rebates I was supposed to get, too, I give them no stars and wish someone can help me get my system fixed. I am on a fixed income and and am paying very high electric bills bcause of this.

      No stars - absolutely horrible company I have 14 invertors that are not reporting and I have been trying to get them fixed for YEARS - I am tired of trying to resolve with them and an letting everyone know how truly ****** this company is

      They are SCAMMERS. We purchased a new home and they actually never turned on our solar panels that we have been paying monthly for. after almost 2 years of begging them to turn it on, they now want our energy bills from the last 12 months when clearly the panels are dead. Within this whole ordeal they created a fake ghost account under our names I only found out because they reported it to the credit bureau and my score dropped 100 pts. No apology and they refuse to send a letter to the credit bureau about their error. This is their way of showing you that you need to continue paying despite not getting the service that you should be provided. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS !!!!!

      This company does not take care of its clients. I leased my solar system in 2014. I now have six solar panels that do not work and need to be replaced. Solar power has said it's just weather related. I have a picture of the solar array that clearly shows six panels not working. I have called numerous times to Spruce Power to no aval, jet I still have to pay my agreed leased amount. I would like the BBB to take whatever action they can to resolve this complaint.
      To potential new customers please do not go into business with Spruce Power. Thoroughly check the solar companies out before you agree to do business with them.

      Spruce Power is running the ultimate con. They buy agreements and decide what parts of written, signed contracts they will honor. I have a leak in my roof under the panels, my lease agreement with Level Solar in 2016 states it is a $400 charge. Spruce has decided it is a "perk" they are not obligated to honor despite the contract stating that when the account is sold all obligations agreed to must be honored.

      The uproar that happened when I suggested under their premise I no longer needed to pay them was something to behold.
