    Long engine block purchased on July 27, 2024 for the amount of $5100 paid in cash. A core deposit of $1800 was paid by check, check number 6056 to hold until the core was returned, we had 30 days to return the core. They ended up cashing that check the day after, the core was returned on August 14, 2024. I had to sign an invoice containing the ****************** of the core deposit. Which states mtz will refund the court deposit ************************************************************************** rebuildables. The policy goes into detail. Im sure the owner will say the core was not rebuildable. Thats why he didnt refund the deposit, but he had 60 days to notify us but now we are one month shy of being a year since we made this purchase and he has not contacted us regarding this yet. We contacted the secretary by phone, weve contacted the mechanic by phone and text and attempted to contact the owner by email, phone, and Text. We were instructed by the mechanic and the secretary that the only way to get a refund back is to text the owner with a pictureof the signed invoice/policy and request our core deposit refund. But he would never reply we even took him to a small claims court, and he did not show up. The only contact we received during this whole time was after he was filed papers to go to court. He texted me a copy of the terms and conditions core deposit policy , I dont know if he realized it was completely different than the one we signed. The new one stated that he can choose how returns our core deposit, I guess he dont realize you cant change it after signing the contract. But no other reply, no response, no apology or no explanation. We did not hear back from him since and still have notreceived our money. On top of that the engine did not work. We had to have it rebuilt by somebody else. But didnt try to return since we only have 10 days to report issues and we didnt try to reinstall it until weeks after. But he owes us the deposit

    I purchased a motor from *** on December 6 2023 for $5,680 total with a refundable core charge of *****. I received the rebuilt motor and sent back the core like we agreed. I first reached out to the company to confirm that they received the motor in early March. I reached out to them through text ( their main form of contact), phone call, and email many times. I was not able to get any information about the core deposit. Even after I was instructed to fill out a request form and send it to the owner there was no response or acknowledgement of the request. I called the store number today and was told that the owner is the only person that can process the refund and that it is "Out of their control". I have been trying to contact the owner for 5 months unsuccessfully so I am taking other steps to get the refund owed to me.

    I had this company work on a motor for me and I had to send it back due to leaking. I sent it back and when I received it again it was still leaking. I&#**;ve had other mechanics look at it and it was not done properly.

    Purchased a long block motor from this company December 2nd. $5629.00
    $4000 for the motor
    $1200 for a core charge
    Plus tax
    I returned my core motor in person in late January. I have not heard any response from the company I have called several time about my core charge. They say the owner handles that and they can’t do anything. They lied to me said he was in surgery, the next day another employee says “ he is a very busy man. He has lots of clients.” As if I wasn’t one of those clients and when I confronted him about the employee who said he was in surgery the day before all of a sudden the owner was resting because of the surgery. Very sketchy. I am about ready to drive the 200 miles it is to the shop and wait until I get an explanation. They owe me my core fee. They have completely stopped answering the phones when I call now too.
