I wish I could give them zero stars. The entire staff is rude, unprofessional and dishonest. I had an appointment with one of their psychiatrists via **** (because this particular psychiatrist apparently cannot be bothered to show up in person except for once in a blue moon), and when I was waiting in the waiting room, I was informed that the appointment was delayed because I had not yet paid. This despite the fact that I had called twice before the appointment to try to provide my credit card information to make payment only to be unable to reach anybody. After being in the **** waiting room for about 30 minutes, a member of the support staff (Felicia) finally called me to get my cc information. When I informed her that I had been waiting for 25 minutes, she raised her voice and said "I've been calling you all morning!" At that point, I decided that I no longer wanted to be a patient at Memorial Park Psychiatry ("Memorial"). I did not provide Felicia with my cc information, nor did I authorize her to charge my card for payments. Nonetheless, the psychiatrist (Michael) called me after my call with Felicia. We spent 15-20 minutes (time in my life I'll never get back) discussing Felicia's rude behavior and Memorial Park Psychiatry's alleged payment policies re: appointments. Even though Michael and I never discussed anything having to do with my mental health and/or emotional well-being, Memorial had the nerve to attempt to charge me for the appointment that never occurred. Apparently talking about Felicia and Memorial's payment policies is (in Memorial's mind) enough to constitute an appointment worth $125. Thankfully the mental care that I need is not too serious, as this experience has been one of the more stressful things that has happened to me this year. All Memorial cares about is making a quick buck, not helping its patients. If you are in need of psychiatric care, I strongly advise that you avoid Memorial Park Psychiatry at all costs.

Mr. ***** had a lengthy appt with his provider on the day in question. The provider created a progress note detailing his diagnosis and treatment and medication monitoring of the prescription he was prescribed. Mr ***** is on psychiatric medications that requires regular appointments and monitoring. He himself provided the staff with his credit card information on the day of the appointment as we do not have credit card numbers on our patients or ever charge them without their authorization. He was angered solely because he had to wait until payment was received before he could see his provider. Mr Mintz has denied payment on all of his physician appointment and consistently tries to get refills on medications and services for free by saying all staff members are not courteous to his demands and his consistent threats. Had the provider not been available to see him or monitor his treatment of his medications we would gladly discount any charges on his account but that is not the case. Thank you so much for opportunity to resp

So as it typical of this organization, they are lying. I did NOT provide them with authorization to charge my card. When I asked them to provide proof that I actually provided them with my authorization, they naturally would not (because they could not) do so. Another lie is that "Mr ***** has denied payment on all of his physician appointment and consistently tries to get refills on medications and services for free by saying all staff members are not courteous to his demands and his consistent threats." This is a complete fantasy concocted by sick people who are lashing out because I've called them out for their unprofessional, dishonest behavior. If necessary, I'm more than happy to provide a sworn affidavit refuting Memorial Park Psychiatry's lies. I doubt very seriously anybody at that organization would do the same. One final point: I am far from the only person who has had problems with this organization. All one has to do is go to Yelp to see that many other people who have had the misfortune of dealing with Memorial Park Psychiatry have the same complaints that I do. If it is helpful, I would be happy to come into the BBB offices for an appointment to provide further details on the matter.
