BBB initiated an investigation on this business on January 12, 2016 following a review of its website. On the website, the business mentions employing real estate agents: "We have agents that specialize in selling every type of home, big or small." However, licensing information with the Texas Real Estate Commission could not be located.
BBB also discovered photos of individuals are in use on the website and social media without permission from the persons photographed; these photos were used to supposedly depict the owners of the business. The individuals photographed and named on the website notified the BBB they were not affiliated with the business. Accordingly, BBB was not able to confirm the identity of Granite Financial, LLC's owners or principals. Businesses should not misrepresent ownership or misuse photos when advertising their services and should be fully transparent.
BBB notified the business on January 22, 2016 but has not yet received a response.
