BBB has received information that the business uses well-known plumbing business names in its advertisements online on Craigslist and Google without permission. These businesses are not affiliated with Houston Plumbers, which also uses the web address ybplumbingtx.com; this business is separate from other plumbing businesses.
BBB asked the business for its plumbing license number as the number was not featured on ybplumbingtx.com; per law, this license number must be featured on any websites created by the business that advertise plumbing services. BBB also could not locate the license on the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners' website. BBB also asked for all phone numbers used by the business and asked the following questions: "Does your business refer
clients to other plumbing companies in this area? If so, which businesses do you work with
or refer clients to? and Where does YB Plumbing
advertise its services (newspaper, online sources, radio, etc.)?"BBB did not receive a response to this inquiry and later learned the address used on the website, 21240 Foster Road
