VirVentures listed an item for sale on ********** that I wanted to buy, so I did. They shipped me the *wrong* item, and when I asked them to correct the error, they wrote "sorry, we can't honor the order that was placed and that we processed via **********." They asked me to return the item; I did. I asked them to ship me the item I ordered; they said they don't have it. Very poor business practice. But it gets worse...They ask me to remove the negative review I posted on ********** (which does nothing more than state the facts); however, they have done nothing to resolve my issue:- I still don't have the product I ordered - I was still inconvenienced to bring the incorrectly-shipped product to ***** to return it to VirVenture - VirVentures is *still* listing a product on ********** that they cannot fulfill, which is deceitful - My event is over and I didn't have the product I ordered for that event, so I had to pay a lot more money to rent something If VirVentures wants me to provide anything more positive than what I write on **********, they need to give me a reason to do so.Initial Complaint

I purchased a desk from the company July 24, 2024. Upon arrival, the desk was clearly not the same quality as shown on the pictures advertised. I returned the item, unused. Once received, the seller stated that they would charge me a 50% restocking fee due to the item being damaged. I countered that the item was never used nor taken out of the box to assemble. I only took one piece of wood out of the box which revealed the terrible quality. Any damage to the desk would have been due to transit, in which case, they should contact **** since they offer delivery insurance. I have filed multiple claims to get my money back but the seller refuses to cooperate.Initial Complaint

On May 14, 2024 I ordered a curio cabinet from VirVentures through ******. Instead, I received a basket instead of a curio cabinet. I sent pictures and have been in contact with the seller several times. The weight of the package is 5 lbs instead of 250 lbs which also proves my claim. VirVentures keeps saying they will take care of it with their supplier. I filed a claim with ******. The seller will not send a prepaid return label. If I send it will cost me $30. I need a prepaid label and a refund.Business Response

I purchased a radiator cover, through this seller, on ****** but ended up not needing it. I returned it. And upon returning it, I did not receive a full refund. On the refund break down, it claimed a majority of the funds were taken for a "restock fee". This was never disclosed prior. When brought up to customer service at ******, I was told I needed to go through them (VirVentures) since this was a third party seller, which I did. They agreed to give me a refund but didn't refund the full amount. Now they are being difficult and uncooperative and will not refund me the rest of my money.Initial Complaint

Received defective item and they refuse to solve the issue by saying they have contacted there supplier. I have been trying to solve the issue for weeks. Wed, Sep 7, 2022 - order delivered, box tattered with holes and tears in addition to a poor attempt at re-taping both ends of the box. Box opened to assess condition of table, box falls apart completely; table is damaged from shipping and poor condition of box. Called ******* who directed me to Virventures.com, spoke to rep at Virventures.com who requested damage photos for possible replacement, photos provided in attached email
Since Wed, Sep 7, 2022 - Virventures.com continues to "escalate" my request for a replacement each time I call in or send an email. Each call or email leads to a new timeframe or additional business days for the exception outcome. I call almost every day to speak to new reps who I need to explain my issue and replacement request. At one point I was told they will provide an RMA to return the table; no RMA received in email and I explained that since it took weeks for any sort of response or direction, the 50" table and original tattered shipping box has been left outside on my front walkway, uncovered and subject to rain. I have explained that the box is now impossible to repackage and that I should not be held responsible for shopping for packing supplies/cardboard/tape to re-package something as large as a 50" table.
Wed, Sept 28 - still no resolution to the multiple "escalated" cases with expired promised resolution date; as the customer I have NO refund and I have NO replacement, I only have a damaged/broken table and tattered box outside my house subject to the elements and am unable to package for an RMA.Initial Complaint

I ordered a table with a wooden base and glass top from ****** on August 6th. I did not receive my table until several weeks later. Upon unboxing the table, the base was completely snapped in half and splintered and completely banged up. I attempted to contact the manufacturer who said they can not help. I then went back to VirVentrues, Inc and kept getting told we are "looking into it". They finally responded back and offered me 20% to take the table to be repaired. This table is completely snapped in half with jagged edges where it broke. It can't be fixed. They refuse to answer my messages or calls. I have attached pictures of how damaged this was out of the box. I clearly stated I wanted a replacement table or a 100% refund and for them to pay for returning this table. I have been trying to get a resolution since 9/19 to no avail. This table was $859 and they refuse to do anything.Business Response

Purchased shoes on Amazon- they were delivered in a timely manner however the shoes were too larger. Never worn, tried one shoe on. I purchased for $67- requested to return. Only $47 was credited. Contacted seller and they stated the shoes were “unsalable” and therefore charging a “restocking fee”. None of this was indicated on the item listing. These shoes were never worn!!!Business Response

Thank you for contacting us. This was a buyers remorse return and the customer returned the item in unsaleable condition. As per our return policy with ******* we have already refunded the customer deducting the restocking fees on 19th September. Hence the needful was completed from our end.
