1 starThey falsely advertised telling You are approved for certain amount of money through Global lending, after doing credit application online. Then arriving at the dealership doing another credit app. Now telling you need a Co-signer. It was a waste of time and FRAUD!!!! They NEED TO BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVESReview fromamanda R

1 starThey false advertise 100%..They lie when they say you have a job you drive away. They lie about working with bad credit and open loans, and they completely disregarded me very quickly. First walking in there i got an attitude from the front desk girl as if there was a problem with me walking in there or something. Very uncomfortable... Should had know then to walk right back out. Mr. Lo called the man they got to "help me" when i walked in having two diff names to ask for bc I was in contact with two and he proceeded to talk bad about me while the other man was in the middle of showing me a car. They were unaware I knew spanish and could hear his voice through the phone. He was apparently ticked off because I did not ask for him when I got there. Why would i ask for you when you couldn't even respond to me for 2 hours??? I sent him a question two hours prior to that and he never got back to me on. Mr. lo was also wispering in the guy that was helping me ear I'm preatty sure and it was obvious setting me up not to acheive getting in a vehicle for me and my 3 daughters and I didn't very very quickly. He kept smirking at me the whole time he obviously was doing eveything possible to have me fail in a purchase, Most place would offer something cheaper that would work for peoples situtation. Not these guys...MANAGER/MR.LO..... He pretty much pushed away the nice one that was going to help me and was kept away from me at one point. NOT one of them there offered not even the manager that was also there apart of it. watching it all happen and IM sure know what was happeninh. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY LIE AND ONLY HELP WHO THEY CHOOSE TO!Review fromRicky S

1 starThey called me at 9:30 am on 10/02/24 and told me I had a guaranteed approval of $35,000.00 to buy a vehicle. I clarified with them that it wasn’t a pre-approval and it was an actual APPROVAL. They assured me I could spend $35,000.00. After two days of back and forth negotiating they told me I never had an approval and could only get $20,000.00 financed. They tried to pull an illegal bait and switch. The management team is rude, condescending, and unwilling to take responsibility for the actions of their employees. These people are crooks and should be avoided at all costs!Review fromAna R

1 starTom Peacock is the absolute worse. I was there yesterday , I had an appointment and pre approval on hand. I was ready to purchase a new vehicle. The finance manager was very rude and very aggressive towards my husband. They also didn’t make us aware of hidden fees. We arrive and automatically added a “VPN package” to the finance charge. I argued about wanting it removed and was rejecting this offer, and yet they refused and said it was part of Tom Peacock policy. This dealer is trying to hustle your money. In the end the manager kicked my husband out and I proceeded to terminate the deal. I do not recommend this place.Review fromMalika L

1 starTHE ABSOLUTE WORST! before hurricane beryl i had a pre approval for a vehicle that Noah arranged for Monday however due to the hurricane that was postponed. On Thursday they opened with limited staff and I I worked with deon who seemed to be helpful but wasn’t and stated all the banks had closed and he would follow up with us the following day, he never called. I also spoke with Johnathan graham who also seemed helpful but had yet to return any of my calls since Thursday it’s always there in meetings all day or their transferring me to their direct lines and I’m getting no answer I also tried calling Deon cell phone and no answer. THEY RAN MY CREDIT 10 TIMES in a matter of 3 days I receive all the emails and have it set up to inform me anytime my social is used. I’ve called up there everyday since Thursday just ti speak with someone for an update and nobody is available. I just called and spoke with Noah who stated he’s only a coordinator and then stated that deon was there and he would transfer me to his line and still no answer. I just want follow up was I approved for vehicle or not and if not STOP RUNNING MY CREDIT. a friend of mine suggested I speak with Miguel yeah called to speak with him multiple times as well that wasn’t helpful eitherReview fromAlex C

1 starPLEASE BEWARE! I am writing this review to bring awareness to a situation that took place at my residence on April 14th, 2024. Two Tom Peacock Nissan employees along with a third adult male decided to show up to my house and continuously bang on my front door and ring the door for an absurdly amount of time. As a response the police were contacted and sent out to my residence.
I recently purchased a vehicle from this establishment on Saturday, April 6th and I came back the following Saturday, April 13th at 9:00am to have my vehicle tinted. A salesman by the name of Ron (tall, black male with eyes resembling jaundice and what appears to be a Louisiana accent) repeatedly approached me as I was waiting for my car to be serviced. Each time, he tried to talk me into coming into his office, but I said "No." I wasn't sure why he was so insistent on talking to me, as I had no business speaking to this person. I chose to ignore him anyhow and kept waiting for my service to be finished. I left the dealership without any other interaction with Ron.
This takes me back to Sunday; the reason this employee and his accomplices showed up at my house was that they suspected me of stealing a phone. For the record, I have no clue as to why this man would have accused me of stealing his property. At no point was there any interaction between him and I that would have allowed me to be near his belongings. The manner in which this was handled is extremely AGRESSIVE, unprovoked, and quite frankly I am extremely uneasy, uncomfortable, and fearful knowing that these men were bold enough to visit my house in the way they did. These men have access to my personal information!
If you are a single female please use caution when visiting this dealership. Because this employee knows I do not have a phone belonging to him, so the real question is WHY WERE YOU AT MY HOUSE ON A SUNDAY MORNING?????Review fromDrusilla S

1 starOn 7 October 2023, I purchased a 2017 Nissan Rogue from Tom Peacock Nissan dealership in Houston, Texas. I completed the required application listing my three (3) incomes, The manager, Carlos ***** at Tom Peacock stated I could only list one major income which is my current job. The salesman Joe ****** informed me the car included one free key remote within 1 year and 3 years of free oil change. I was informed the car had an oil change, brake fluid replaced, new front/rear brakes, new door guards, 15-point inspection, internal and external car detailing. I later found out the oil change for 3 years was incorrect because the finance manager Kevin ********* included $500 without my knowledge. I was deceived with the incorrect mileage of the vehicle. I signed the odometer at 80,962 miles only to find out the correct mileage from an email on 16 Oct 23 from the Mr. Aaron ********, the mileage was 81,224 miles. Mr. ******** stated he was not going to adjust the mileage and if I didn’t like the set mileage, I could cancel the extended warranty. The oil change was included with the $500 maintenance service. I cancelled the two (2) warranties. I received a check for the extended warranty at $4,000 on 15 Dec 23 with no issues or deductions from the Ethos Group, Inc. I had my mechanic inspect the brakes and brake fluid on 18 Nov 23. The front brakes were very low and a safety issue. I was informed the brakes were new. The service manager, Scott stated the brakes were low but acceptable for driving off the parking lot on the date the vehicle was purchased. On 21 Dec 23, I received a check for half the paid maintenance cost of $500, which $259 paid by Tom Peacock Nissan, a difference of $241. Mr. ******** stated the remaining partial payment was with the previous lien company. The check was received from his dealership. The warranties were cancelled 21 days after I purchased the vehicle. I am only requesting resolution of the remaining partial payment.Review fromRaul P

1 starThis complaint was already submitted on 11/28/2023. Apparently I received an error so I’m submitting it again. Unpleasant Experience at Tom Peacock Nissan
I visited Tom Peacock Nissan at 15300 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77090, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being pre-approved online for up to $35,000, the sales representative insisted on a down payment, which contradicts consumer credit transaction regulations outlined in 15 USC 1662b.
I encountered difficulties when requesting the financial institution’s contact details that pre-approved my loan, as the sales manager refused to provide the information. Moreover, I experienced frustration with the sales manager, Walter, who questioned the accuracy of my proof of income (POI) and displayed an unhelpful attitude.
To make matters worse, I discovered that my credit had been unnecessarily run more than 11 times, resulting in multiple hard inquiries on my credit report. This not only violates standard practices but also raises concerns about the dealership’s commitment to customer transparency and adherence to the Truth in Lending Act (TILA).
Overall, this experience has led me to reconsider purchasing from dealerships. Instead, I am opting for the convenience and reduced stress of acquiring a vehicle through small car lots or online marketplaces. I hope this feedback encourages Tom Peacock Nissan to improve its practices and prioritize customer satisfaction in the future. I’m in God hands.
Warm Regards,
EliReview fromMartha L

1 starI applied online and got an email with a loan approval# from Cheree the internet finance manager. I emailed and asked for the terms she called and told me over the phone and said I was pre approved for up to $80,000. I just had to go in, pick a car and sign papers and I had to give no money down. So I took off of work and went down there and the person she told me to ask for was not availabe. So Josh the sales guy said he was on his team and I picked my vehicle. Had to do a new application for their records and he came back and said I needed a co signer. I told him thats not what I was told. I was pre approved and he said No. My son had dropped me off thinking I was approved and left. I was stranded at the dealer. Then my phone died. To get me out of there because I was very loud in my fury.. they put me in an office for a while to charge my phone and none of their chargers worked. So then I was told my sales person would give me a ride home. Talk about humiliated and disgusted. How a dealer can just lie about your loan and make you think you could just pick a car and drive off the lot. Thats exactly what the internet finance rep Cheree told me. She actually said that to me. I don’t want anyone else to go through this humiliation ever.
